In the 50th, it is revealed the reason why The Doctor stole The TARDIS and left Gallifrey:
[sp]The First Doctor is told he will destroy Gallifrey and everybody he cares about. So he steals The TARDIS and leaves with Susan to avoid his future. Running from his fate.
The person who tells him is The Hurt Doctor, aka the forgotten Ninth Doctor. Who may turn out to have an evil streak.[/sp]
[editline]10th May 2013[/editline]
Also in the finale, not sure if this is trustworth:
[sp]The First Doctor and Clara save The Seventh Doctor in Dragonfire[/sp]
But something that is trustworthy about the Christmas episode:
[sp]Matt Smith is leaving[/sp]
Although nobody is saying if that's Christmas 2013 or 2014. It will be a Christmas though. One person says he was told next year will have a run of 15 episodes, with a Christmas special where [sp]Eleven dies[/sp].
I hope that's true. I prefer that.
Yep.
Hence Romana II.
The first one:

Colin Baker was in Doctor Who before he was The Doctor.
Paterson Joseph was in Doctor Who before he auditioned for The Doctor.
Freema Ageyman was in Doctor Who before she was Martha.
Karen Gillan was in Doctor Who before she was Amy.
I was thinking they should bring back 1 or 2 other timelords just to make the show interesting write it in as some thanks for the Doctor for helping a species higher up than the timelords or something I don't know.
WHAT, NO, MATT!!
I guess this is it
He looks like he wants to kill me.
Some people close to production are saying Paterson Joseph was offered the role of the 11th Doctor.
This rumour has been around for years but Joseph ahas always refused to talk about it in detail. The word is now that things went very far, publicity shots of Joseph and The TARDIS had even been taken before something changed for whatever reason.
Take with a pinch of salt obviously. But interesting non the less.

I posted the news Matt cut his hair ages ago.
It means nothing.
It can grow back before filming in September.
This is interesting.

Laughed way too hard to not post it here

In my mind this is canon.
Favourite TARDIS team. I fancy Romana II too.
Kind of pains me to think that Tom and Lallia Ward (Romana 2's actor) actually did get married, but it didn't really work out for them.
50th Anniversary spoilers. [sp]John Hurt confirmed to play the 9th Doctor, not just a "part of him", but actually being the 9th Doctor.[/sp]

Welp.
On the other hand they keep referring to their information as "the source" so God knows what that means.

Maybe so, but there's no way it can reach the swooshy-flicky heights reached in series 7:

Also, I never noticed the huge-ass scar he has on his head:

Could very well be for filming; from what I can see he's already gone through more costumey and appearance changes than Eccleston/Tennant did - perhaps a rogue Dalek hairdresser comes along and sabotages his swishy flicky weary hairy

The source is Matt's hair.
The Sun's sources are GallifreyBase and DigitalSpy, by the way.
The source is Matt's hair.
I'm currently imagining Matt's hair and Moffat in court following the violation of the non-disclosure agreement.

oh god he kinda looks like eccelsten in that one
I would say maybe the scar from on his head could be from his injury that stopped him playing football and turned to acting.

[sp]"John revealed earlier this week he will play ''part of the Doctor'' in a ''kind of trinity'' with Matt Smith and David Tennant, but the pair's Doctors will initially refuse to accept John's character is one of them until it becomes apparent thanks to their sonic screwdrivers"[/sp]
[sp]Sonic screwdrivers.[/sp] That is so typical.

"'Nightmare in Silver' airs at 7pm on Saturday 11 May on BBC One. To whet your appetite, here are ten hints for the episode..."
[sp]» The Cybermen are doing all sorts of new things and are damn clever.
» The Doctor evokes a Batman villain.
» We find out something new about a Time Lord invention.
» Definite vibe of 'The Doctor's Daughter' going on here.
» Matt does mean impersonations of a certain two actors.
» A Torchwood alien makes an appearance.
» Definite vibe of 'Kinda' going on here.
» An alien from The Sarah Jane Adventures also pops up.
» In general, keep your eyes peeled for other returning monsters and aliens. And Doctors.
» Clara is most definitely the boss.[/sp]
The TV trailers return for the finale :v:

[/sp]
The actors are [sp]Chris & David[/sp]. They're apparently quite awful impressions. Which is a shame, he did [sp]David[/sp] before for the whole of The Eleventh Hour and it was great.
Stream begins in about 2 hours.
Hold on to your butts.
Ah, I think the actor who played Romana II was in the same EP as Romana I which would have consfused the audience a bit.
It confuses The Doctor in her debut episode. Romana says she assumed the form of one of the characters from the previous serial.
Also I never realised that Romana's outfit in that episode is essentially a girly version of The Doctor's:

What's the link again?
I wonder if the finale will see Whispermen versus Silence.
I think for the 50th BBC should clearly just reair this.

Now on: Pre-show/Aliens of London
I wonder if the finale will see Whispermen versus Silence.
You mean the 'Silence' parasite creatures or the religious order?
Geeze, some of the action figures for the series are so hard to get over here in America. OR at least, I can find them, they just would cost me pretty pennies each time.
You'd think it wouldn't be that hard to get Tenth Doctor figures for cheap, assuming how many they must've made during his tenure, but no, any figure of him with the Sonic accessory that's not from the Eleven Doctors set costs at least $20 or $30 (before shipping, which, considering most of these sellers are in the UK, is another costly matter entirely).
