I wouldn't mind him being tasked with writing another episode which isn't the "we're out of money episode" of the series. He has done Agatha Christie and Shakespeare - how about another prominent figure from the past :)
Roberts hasn't done the far future yet! I want to see him tackle spaceships and aliens! I didn't think much to his historical ones as much as his present day. Though my Year 10 English teacher used to play the "SHUT YA BIG FAT MOUTHS" scene in classes.
With Clara being a teacher, there should be lots of scope for historicals. I miss the standard concept of The Doctor & Companion visiting a place together out of curiosity - at the beginning of the episode - then leaving at the end. It actually feels like it has been a while :v: Time -> Trenzalore Signal Day -> UNIT hijacking Name -> Trenzalore Warning Nightmare -> Angie & Artie Theme Park Visit Crimson Horror -> Paternoster Gang investigating Journey -> TARDIS stolen Hide -> Probably the closest for a while. Start, middle & end - albeit with a sudden misstep. Enjoyed it.
I'd love to see Capaldi and Clara re-visit an alien planet we haven't seen in quite some time. Marinus, anyone?

Marinus, anyone?
Some unfounded rumours of: [sp]a return to Peladon and an Ark in Space sequel[/sp] But yeah I really love the show most when The Doctor doesn't have some kind of motive for being there. I like the curiosity landings and the happy accidents. Maybe he should reinstall the randomiser button.
Finally got what I wanted in the mail today, you will see all my credentials are in order got it from here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/150411885/doctor-who-psychic-paper-wallet-prop?ref=sr_gallery_8&ga_search_query=Psychic+Paper&ga_order=most_relevant&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=US&ga_search_type=all
Why is there a white piece of paper in your wallet?
White piece of paper? what are you talking about, I'm holding my credentials from the Queen.
You paid £10 for a bus pass holder [editline]2nd January 2014[/editline] Also can I just point out that the voice doubles for the first three Doctors in The Light at the End are utter shite
William Russell & Frazer Hines are 'utter shite.' Single tear.
They're great playing the characters they originally played, not impersonating their co-stars

Or is that too American?
Just outta interest, have they done anything concerning the founding fathers of America? Or is that too American?
Only that two of them fancied The Doctor.
Frazer Hines does a decent Troughton but the others are eh.
They're great playing the characters they originally played, not impersonating their co-stars
Frazer Hines does an AMAZING Second Doctor. He does it quite often. Not heard Light at the End (kill me, I'm poor) so can't offer opinion on William Russell doing Hartnell. The guy they got to impersonate him in Day of the Doctor is really good and I've heard him do it a few times in the past. Should've got him.
Tens make-up was brilliant.
I always thought that was a different actor, to be honest.

the fact that Tooth and Claw is so high up and the Lodger is so far down shows that some of it is just pot luck
Those bottom 6 are 6 of my favourites. If it's a sunny nice day outside people will go outside. Towards the end of a series the sun starts coming out a bit more as we move into spring. People also stop tuning in so regularly come episode 7 as they're just used to Doctor Who always being on. Tooth and Claw was also still the early days of a new Doctor (which gets attention) and highly publicised due to the royal featured. I'm betting on Capaldi's first episode getting to the top bracket. Probably close to 11mil on finals. The marketing will be intense.
Modern Series Ratings
Next time someone tells me "Doctor Who is dying!!!" I'll just show them these numbers. :v: [editline]3rd January 2014[/editline] Oh wait, I thought those were sorted by series. Fuck.
I still want a story on the American civil war type era as I really know next to nothing on it and Doctor Who would be an inviting way to get the basic details. I felt like Assassins Creed 3 expected you to actually care and know of the names within that story and I really knew fuck all about any of them. They mayswell have invented characters. Hasn't it been nearly 50 years since a historical story with no sci-fi element? [editline]3rd January 2014[/editline]
Next time someone tells me "Doctor Who is dying!!!" Until a new series falls entirely below the bottom bracket - it's perfectly fine :v:
Lmao everyone's favorite episodes are on the bottom And what's the top thing? Some Christmas special nobody remembers, other than Kylie minogue and wilf
I'm surprised Vincent and the Doctor is so low on that list, it was one of my favorite episodes from 11's era
whoever hasn't watched Satan Pit is missing out, that one was great.
