Any story with the Ood in it is guranteed to be a very good episode
William Russell & Frazer Hines are 'utter shite.' Single tear.
They got Russell for 1? Weird, I heard good things about Peter Purves (Steven Taylor)'s impression, I'd thought they'd get him.

When does January's Doctor Who Magazine come out? I'm guessing it'll be the long awaited and traditional "Peter Capaldi is The Doctor" issue. I imagine it'll have Peter on the front in costume. They'll probably release the cover online a few days before it actually comes out too, and the BBC website will probably have some high quality stills for the press and international news sources. So we could be seeing the Capaldi costume very very soon? It'll be any time between now and January 6th (when filming starts, and they always start with location stuff). [editline]3rd January 2014[/editline] I guess either way we look at it. By the end of January 6th we will know what Capaldi is wearing. The production team always release official images before the paparazzi can snap them off set.
DWM is every 4 weeks, so it'll be about 18th. And if the [sp]Capaldi's first ep being Easter special[/sp] rumour is true, chances are he'll be in Matt's costume for any January location filming.
pretty sure the easter special rumour is fake, unless there's a random change they definitely want to make the first episode a big thing though so I'm sure they'll be tons of publicity n stuff

Latest from GB is that Easter isn't true.
hm, my favourite 10th Doctor story (Tooth and Claw, feel free to despise me) is near the top and my favourite 11th Doctor story (The Doctor's Wife) is in the middle.
ooo david bradley is on pointless today
easter special with the 8th doctor is too good to be true
I just rewatched Day of the Doctor with my nephew. It's so perfect. I love love it. It's such a shame we'll probably never see those three Doctors together again, not like that. Not while they all still look like their respective incarnations (just about for David). When David left back in 2010 I wasn't that cut up about it as the whole time I was thinking "he'll be back in three years for the 50th". But now I realise that's fully it. That's the last of new Hurt, 10, and 11. Which is a shame because the three of them are so good. Hurt is incredible. Such a shame there's so little of him. Hurt is the new McGann. I guess there could be a 60th special but there's no reason that would include past Doctors. They are gone now. Gone for good. By the 75th I imagine Hurt will be retired or retired and Tennant will be 67 and look nothing like the youthful Tenth Doctor. Matt can always get away with it because of the ageing in Time but I don't expect them to be back now. The show might not even be on! It might've been rebooted by then! Our New Series Doctors will become Classic Doctors. So I watch Day of the Doctor with the thought that that can never happen again. Every second is precious. I love love love it! Deep down against all hope I cross my fingers for a 10th anniversary of revival special. Rose was such an important step for the show, it's equally impressive as An Unearthly Child was back then. Nu-who wasn't a success by riding on nostalgia, it fought tooth and claw to establish itself as something new. I hope for a 10th Anniversary special with John, Chris, David, Matt, and Peter. But if it doesn't happen I'll forever cherish Day of the Doctor, it's just perfect.
I do feel bad for McCoy & C Baker. Even Hartnell has been represented more than both of them, with all other surviving Doctor actors recording new footage since 2005. At least there will always be F-ish Doctor.
10 was aged too.
Can't wait till Big Finish get the New-Who license. EDIT: Also by the time the 100th anniversary comes around and possibly the 75th the technology will be so amazing we will probably be able to have all the Doctors in one episode and have it look actually decent at the rate technology is evolving. :v:
yes, but that was one year and he was locked up AND that year was erased anyway.
Can't wait till Big Finish get the New-Who license.
That thought kills me and sends me to my happy place. *Dreams of Nine facing Weeping Angels, Captain Jack annoying War, and Eight toying with Dalton Rassilon* [editline]3rd January 2014[/editline]
I do feel bad for McCoy & C Baker. They phone Christopher Eccleston but he turns them down because he's John Hurt.

Ben Wheatley is en route https://mobile.twitter.com/mr_wheatley/status/419416198179074048/photo/1?screen_name=mr_wheatley
How strange, I watched Kill List again last night. I love Wheatley!
I too, love Wheatley.
Modern Series Ratings 6.66m - Love & Monsters
this explains a lot
this explains a lot
Sort of upsetting that the best episode in Doctor Who history does not get the recognition is deserves. Nick Setchfield of SFX rated the episode 4.5 out of 5, noting how it "finally gives Doctor Who a whole new vocabulary as a television programme." He wrote, "This may be Russell T Davies’s smartest, funniest script. It’s certainly the warmest, and somehow it feels like the most personal." See, people are totally not demonspawns trying to convince the public!!
When are iPlayer figures going to be included in final ratings? It was meant to be by the end of 2013, I'm sure. Not to mention a timeshift period extension to 28 days for consolidated data.

I've found them to be pretty much piss since you can never find anything episodic with anything more than 3 and a half stars, and even then there's no explanation as to why
I'm late by a few weeks, but I finally watched Time of the Doctor. [sp]I almost started crying when they played the music from when Ten was talking to Wilfred in the radiation box during End of Time.[/sp]
