We're now watching boom town, probably my least favourite episode ever!

It's in 1 hour, right?
It's on at 7 today
It's on at 7 today
So 2 hours?
Sorry, time zones.
An hour and a half from now, yeah.
You mean the 'Silence' parasite creatures or the religious order?
Both. Though it depends in the 'Silents' personal agenda is the same as the religious order. Presumably so.
Time for the worst episode ever made.

Can you handle it?

This is painful, I don't think i can han- "absorbaloff"... nope.
And the chat says everything I was trying not to think about when watching that.
I really hope Nightmare in Silver is quite a dark episode, i don't want another episode that ends with "Love solves everything, everybody lives!"

There's kids. Good luck with that, lol.

The Doctor is about to die completely useless and uncapable of doing anything about it even with all his inteeligence and TARDIS time travel when suddenly the day is saved by the kids and River who save the day by singing about love and friendship.

i bet this will happen
After all these negative reviews, I'm finding it hard to summon up any anticipation for this episode.

Usually the reviews aren't that good anyway, sometimes people love a so called 5/10 episode or hate a so called 10/10 episode

Great quality; incase anyone lags on livestream like I.

Neil Gaiman said this episode is a 6/10 scariness it's more personal than scary.
But he really wants to do a 9 or 10/10 scariness, something that would scare even adults.
Is that the doll from The God Complex?
Why dont they explain why the kids are accepted to travel wth the Doctor

I feel as if I'm missing 1/2 of the episode.

This ep seems bugged...
I actually quite liked this episode. I know a lot of you were a bit iffy, but it quite intense towards the end and it all played out well. Pretty good ending too. Anyone else enjoy this episode?
Doctor Who returns at 7pm next week.
Yeah that was pretty good, not a classic but much better than I was expecting.
That was a pretty cool episode! Glad the kids were absent throughout most of it!
stream continues with Fear Her! Let's get shitty!

ugh, matt smith is too good
Not sure what to think of that episode.
I really liked the Doctor playing chess, and thought Matt Smith was great. But Clara is still just...meh.
And Angie...
Fucking Angie. Fuck you. I've never been more irritated at a character in Doctor Who
I liked the chess game theme and the way the Doctor resolved it, but oh my god the child actors were abysmal for the short amount of screen time they got.
Warwick's reveal was a bit iffy but I think his acting made up for it.
It was awesome to see one of the Ewoks in Doctor Who! :v:
For those who don't know, the guy who played [sp]Porridge / The Emperor[/sp] was one of the Ewoks in Star Wars Episode 6.
Not a half bad episode, was worried the kids were going to ruin it but they didn't get in the way.
nightmare in silver was like a fucking amazing episode and a fucking terrible episode welded together
the scenes with the doctor fighting himself were god-tier, the scenes with clara and the kids were uniformly awful
why does clara's IQ vary by like 50 points from scene to scene. one minute she displays leadership skills she never showed before, the next she falls into a painfully obvious trap that everyone in the stream saw coming.
That was a pretty bad episode, i think the Cyberman are ruined now. The kids just felt like they were shoved in, they weren't needed at all.
[sp]1.Upgrading all the time for every little weakness, it just feels like a way for them to avoid everything
2.Their new voice and marching sounds makes them seem less scary
3.The way the whole Cyber planner thing was done was just stupid, it sounded like a good idea but giving it a personality and making it seem the complete opposite of what the Cybermen are supposed to be ruined it.
4. 3 million new Cybermen just appeared out of nowhere with an upgraded design
5. The amount of Cybermen made them feel like they weren't a serious threat, there were just too many to take seriously.
6. The Materials for the cyber planner thing just appeared and disapeared out of nowhere
7. Silly things like removing their heads or spinning them around
8. Super fast Cyberman with no explanation and not seen again.
The biggest problem i had was the whole thing was resolved by a chess game. [/sp]
Overall the episode was a huge disapointment. The new Design and the things shown in the episode mean the Cybermen are no longer the Cold, emotionless, dark, scary former-human robots that believed they were a superior design to humans and only cared about upgrading the universe to remove the weakness of flesh. They seem silly now.
