Capasda seems to work decently though.
Capasta?
Writer and director of the TV movie were British and grew up with Doctor Who. The problem wasn't that it was American,
I thought the McGann movie was Canadian.

as much as i loved the 'change' speech i slightly wish that scene could have somehow been 11's regeneration scene with a better story to build up to it and get to that bit
Nah because that speech is more relevant to death. Regeneration should absolutely never be presented as death *shoots evil stare at The End of Time*.
Competition winning set visitors
Peter Capaldi is certainly the most awesome of the Doctors. The rest of you can find out just how awesome in August (Spoilers sweeties) It was all shades of awesome and we're sworn to bloody secrecy on details until after August but still I can tell we're in for a treat.
I'm so excited!
I thought the McGann movie was Canadian.
It was shot in Vancouver, Canada. Fox was presumably American enough that people focus mostly on that side of the North American production.
interestingly in the dwm interview peter says he thought the 50th anniversary cameo would be his whole face i wonder if that means there's a clip out there where his whole face is in it, i'd be interested to see that also there's a bit on regenerations where some doctors talk about their regenerations (quotes taken from previous issues) this is what colin said:
'I got harangued for being selfish. 'You could have done a regeneration!' Er, why? What did I owe to the programme? The programme-makers valued me so lowly [Colin was sacked from the role]... If the BBC make arbitrary decisions, they have to pay the price.'
This was taken from about 120 issues ago, I wonder if since then he's changed, after all the 50th stuff? He didn't owe anything to the programme-makers, I'd assume when people called him selfish they meant he should have done it 'for the fans'.
He's totally right. If I was him I'd probably hate doctor who. It's good he does all of those conventions and stuff.
I can appreciate his sentiment towards the role. The BBC essentially sacked him and then not long afterwards said "actually could you maybe come back for a bit, we weren't finished with you"
[t]http://i.imgur.com/G3WhrYb.png[/t]
Here's a clue, look at my avatar and then re-watch that section of the video :v:
Have we all seen this? I'm rooting for 4, he wrecks shit UP! No guns my ass, remember that mega-bazooka cannon he was wielding in Invasion of time? The demat-gun! Don't be a jerk, we're all whovians here. Don't deny another possibly less financially well-off whovian the chance to watch series 7 again in it's HD-gloriness, and just sell it on ebay for your own benefit you filthy scum! JUST THIS ONCE.. EVERYBODY DIES
To say this was made in Autumn 2013, they predicted some odd things: "Kidneys! I've got new kidneys!" "Why are you pointing your screwdrivers at me like that, they're scientific instruments, not water pistols!" Funny.
I wonder if there will ever be a version of 'The Doctor' in real life. Obviously no specifics like the timelord part n such, but I wonder if there will ever be one of the smartest and kindest men time and space travelling through the universe, just being Doctor like.

So there is a universe with a Gallifrey, a Skaro, and The Doctor. So I guess it's entirely possible that if The Doctor can crash through the barriers between universes then couldn't he one day fall into ours? If we ever find proof (unlikely) that parallel universe do exist then it would make walking down the street and hearing the TARDIS an actual scientific possibility. That's exciting.

He's human so he can't regenerate and dies of old age. It would be scary if there was a universe where the Daleks won and moved into other universes and kept consuming them.

I really hope the middle 8 returns to the credits sequence next series, I really miss it.

recently been getting really hyped up for the oculus rift, and I keep thinking how awesome it'll be to use that vr cinema thing to watch the Day of the Doctor in the cinema in 3D again
