Oculus rift tour around the TARDIS
oh yeah I also searched for other doctor who oculus stuff
all I found was this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjyY7wHYUXE
EDIT: why isn't there a Doctor Who ride? like a virtual one (eg the ones at universal). they'd rake it in if they just shoved a doctor who ride in the middle of the doctor who experience or something.

Careful, Doc, you don't want to develop an unhealthy obsession with babies.
So I was reading the new DWM and apparently moffat was trying to make the Cushing films canon. The idea was that Ian and Barbara pitched the idea of the doctor and the Tardis to film makers after getting back to earth. So the idea was that the cushing films were in-universe dramatisations of tje doctors adventures. Moffat wanted posters for the films to appear in the black archive (as unit were trying to conceal it to stop knowledge of the doctor getting out) but they couldn't afford the rights. So the idea was scrapped. :v:
Cool idea.
I would be all for making the Cushing Movies canon to the in universe

For extra hilarity read the typical Daily Mail comments which are less enthused by cultural liberation and instead concerned about dirty foreigners watching their TV shows.
I was going to make a joke comment, but the top rated comment is pretty much exactly what I was going to say

Media tags weren't working when I tried, thanks also
So this one old Doctor Who site I keep looking up for story reviews has always had a more positive attitude towards things, get a load of their review for Miracle Day.
At the time of writing, End of the Road, The Gathering and The Blood Line have yet to air, and so I have no idea how this multifarious masterwork will ultimately play out. However, if it continues to enthral and to horrify with the same gusto as the first eight episodes did, then Miracle Day might prove to be Torchwood’s finest hour yet.

recently been getting really hyped up for the oculus rift, and I keep thinking how awesome it'll be to use that vr cinema thing to watch the Day of the Doctor in the cinema in 3D again
I haven't been able to get the vr cinema to work in so long. Makes me sad.
how do we know that isn't his costume?
It doesn't exactly look to the future. :v: Costume will be revealed before it's openly filmed in for everyone to see.
Capaldi continues to be great for fans: https://vine.co/v/hL5HwwE3ObF
A lot of personal reports of him taking time for pics and chatting between takes.
Short video, possibly the first, of Capaldi filming. Obviously avoid if you don't like to know any set pieces. Greeting another fan: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bd49YPeIcAEknXY.jpg
i think he's my favourite already
I feel so overwhelmingly positive about the show right now.
Capaldi leaves set with a final message for set reporters.

Speaking of which I ended up sitting through the latter half of S3E3; I actually think I like Sherlock, even though I didn't initially think it'd be my kinda thing.
Dunno why I thought that, since I do enjoy watching Poirot when it's on.
Also there doesn't seem to be all that much separating Sherlock from Khan in Into Darkness; both characters seem kinda similar.
