Ha, Capaldi told set reporters that it wasn't his costume :v:

It's some horse chase. There's another video of a stunt double on an actual horse. They just need Capaldi on something that vaguely looks like a horse doing the same path to CGI-splice-magic Capaldi onto the stunt double.
Speaking of which I ended up sitting through the latter half of S3E3; I actually think I like Sherlock, even though I didn't initially think it'd be my kinda thing.
Dunno why I thought that, since I do enjoy watching Poirot when it's on.
Also there doesn't seem to be all that much separating Sherlock from Khan in Into Darkness; both characters seem kinda similar.
Watch the rest of the series, they're both smart characters, but almost polar opposites, if Sociopaths can be socially different.

So you're sitting at work and it's late and you wish you went home hours ago. You lean back in your chair and glance out a window hoping for something to elevate your dull existence. You see Peter Capaldi doing that scene.
That would be a bizarre end to the day.
he is sitting way too far forward on that fake horse, he's like practically on its neck
Has to be more effective than this :v:

On this day in 1996 Doctor Who lethargically pulled itself out of bed and hit the 'snooze' button on the alarm.
Happy 17th, Dr Eight.

Ah, the day when the Doctor became romantic in more ways than one.
Also, Best Doctor.

One more year and he's legal!
As it had been foretold, the armies of the Universe gathered at Trenzalore. Only one thing stood between the planet and destruction – the Doctor. For nine hundred years, he defended the planet, and the tiny town of Christmas, against the forces that would destroy it.
He never knew how long he could keep the peace. He never knew what creatures would emerge from the snowy night to threaten him next. He knew only that at the end he would die on Trenzalore.
Some of what happened during those terrible years is well documented. But most of it remains shrouded in mystery and darkness.
Until now.
This is a glimpse of just some of the terrors the people faced, the monstrous threats the Doctor defeated. These are the tales of the monsters who found themselves afraid – and of the one man who was not.
Where do they get these bad pictures of Matt from? :v:
i'm almost certain that was painted
Bunch of Classic monsters in that one? Sounds remarkable.
And back on the tune of 8's preimere day, managed to rediscover some high-res images from illustrations that were made for the Ebook of an Eighth Doctor novel the BBC had published on their website a while ago:

I've managed to salvage the ebook text for this story (The Dying Days, for those interested) and a Fourth Doctor that was also on the site via Wayback Machine. I've been hoping to upload them somewhere, but I'm told I could get in legal trouble for that. Any truth to that theory, since the books are long out of print and I don't see any other ebook versions?
I don't see what harm in uploading them could do, if they're long out of print and no other ebooks exist of it, I guess it's free game

That's actually a pretty good idea. The odd story every now and again detailing some other assault on Christmas while the Doctor was there. Helps round out his character development as he becomes a legend in the village (as by the end of the episode he'd been in Christmas longer than any of the current residents).

That's what I'm thinking. All the ebooks the BBC made for their sites were revivals of old Virgin novels from between the last McCoy episodes and the TV Movie (exempting Eight's book, of course). I think the only concern then is that BBC Books might publish them in the future, considering they'll be republishing some of those as part of an upcoming line based around Doctor Who monsters. One of the books in said line was among the ebooks (Third Doctor story The Scales of Injustice).
Though I suppose I could just keep the upload links private if publication does come to past. Still, the fact they were online officially and can be retrieved via Wayback Machine does sound like free game, but the arguement could easily be applied to unauthorized episode uploads and such.
Got these yesterday, was glad to find the Colin Baker era Doctor Who Magazine
But, somewhat surprisingly, Freeman once almost had a role on "Doctor Who." He tells Zap2it that he had been in the running for the role of The Doctor at one point in time, though the chances of him appearing on the BBC series now are slim.
"Not that I know of. No, I don't think there's ever been any -- no," Freeman says when asked if Moffat and Gatiss have a role for him on "Doctor Who" now. "I think my name was on an extremely long list once for a Doctor, but they've not asked me. I like the show, though."
Thing about Martin is you would never look at him and think "Doctor material". Which in many ways makes him perfect casting as he would no doubt bring something fresh and will be completely different from the last four.
Regardless, Martin recently said he'd never accept it due to the heavy pressure.
can't we just have a short, non-canon, sherlock/doctor who cross-over for children in need or something
THINK OF THE CHILDREN (and how much money this would raise for them)
