Moffat tried to include the Cushing movie posters in the black archive - they would have been some kind of shoddy depiction of The Doctor's life in-universe. But they couldn't afford the rights to them.
if it's a sellout for charity I don't see much wrong with it
oh my bad, then by all means.
Tom Burke on Capaldi:
I'd worked with him before on The Hour. Peter's one of my favourite actors and he's a Jedi master of courtesy" " He's a brilliantly dangerous, mercurial, unpredictable force of nature while you're filming and while he's acting, and then when they say 'Cut' he's a lovely, lovely man. And I'm delighted he's playing a hero [in Doctor Who] having played a villain [in The Musketeers]." "I think predominantly everybody felt very happy for him and very excited to see him as the Doctor," said Burke. "It was a gradual realisation that he wouldn't be able to do the second series and people are now very excited about who the next villain will be so that's going to bring a new energy. Hopefully he'll be as good as Peter was."

Tom Burke on Capaldi:
oh god, when he started talking about the "gradual realization" I was about to freak out, but then I saw he was still talking about the musketeers phew

your hedgehog online transcends the internet, ha. [editline]17th January 2014[/editline] are you know as the hedgehog man of moscow?
I just finished listening to the 50th Anniversary Big Finish Audio Drama, The Light at the End, god it's fantastic hearing doctors 4-8 in all their glory. Glad they were able to get them for this production
your hedgehog online transcends the internet, ha. [editline]17th January 2014[/editline] are you know as the hedgehog man of moscow?
i keep a low profile here
If my girlfriend got me the Fourth Doctor's scarf, I'd be so excited, I'd spray her TARDIS with my Jelly Babies. Edit: I call it her TARDIS because it's bigger on the inside. And it travels space and time.
I'm thinking of buying 11's Sonic Screwdriver, but not the toy, the one that works for the Nintendo Wii and the Wii U. [img_thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71VETcadh4L._SL1500_.jpg[/img_thumb]
One of my many obsessions is watching how people age.

I don't know why but I enjoy the concept of ageing, specially here where you can see every 10 years. I guess it's sort of like really slow regenerating? I'm just obsessed with the concept of change really. 1983 Peter looks like the sort of actor we were expecting to get for twelve. He could've played The Doctor then. I wonder if he tried for it or if that was the era he was embarrassed about the show and burnt all his signed memorabilia. But yeah I like ageing so when I saw these GIFs (amongst others) on Tumblr I decided to post them here incase others like it.
Should buy the one from Celestial Toystore http://celestialtoystore.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=16
“I mean, I love Doctor Who. I’ve always loved Doctor Who, but… we’ll just see what happens in the future.” - Richard Madden.

i still can't figure out what exactly i like more about the Matt Smith series' more than the other revival series' i think the episodes just seem to have more impact and like they actually matter even though that's rarely the case and they usually have as little impact as most of the episodes from series 1-4
Didn't we already decide that the celestial toystore guy was an unreasonable arse?
“I mean, I love Doctor Who. Richard Madden would be a good one-off companion. Maybe a two-parter set in a warzone (world war 1 perhaps?) with Madden as a young private. Something terrible could be afoot in no-man's land.
Madden would be a great full time companion as a love interest for Clara
Madden would be a great full time companion as a love interest for Clara
read that as moffat at first :v:
something about him that makes me think he'd be perfect in a wedding episode.
I can't read Madden without thinking of John Madden, so this seems a bit weird.
Madden would be a great full time companion as a love interest for Clara
