Not a half bad episode, was worried the kids were going to ruin it but they didn't get in the way.
are you kidding me, the girl was so annoying (though I found the boy likeable though)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p018wbj2 Doctor Who Prequel: She Said, He Said
it should have been a two parter although that sentence could apply to most episodes of this show
I think what they need to do is explain to viewers there's a difference between Cybus Cybermen and Mondasian Cybermen because its never been explained in show and must be confusing as fuck for some people
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p018wbj2 here's the prequel
- They just keep on becoming immune to everything
Nah I liked that a lot. Resolves plot holes like "why don't they just keep using gold foil or EMP grenades and stuff if they're that vulnerable". I was always puzzled why that aspect of the Borg wasn't incorporated into the Cybermen sooner.

My Dad noticed it before I could.
man, when clara was all "the cybermen can't fly, right?" i was really hoping for a smash cut to a bunch of cybermen just hurtling through the air on rocket boots going "UPGRADE IN PROGRESS"
It wasn't as bad as people said it would be. But The Cybermen are now worse off.
Oh god, the parts [sp]where the doctor and the cyberdoctor thing where in his mind with the green screen effects was amazing looking. I'm sure it's good wallpaper material.[/sp]
I didn't really like it much. I think I need to stop looking forward to episodes, it just guarantees that I won't enjoy them.
It wasn't as bad as people said it would be. But The Cybermen are now worse off.
I like them more actually. Less stomping, better voices.
"God so many Cybermen. What do we do?" "Let's just leave" "Okay" -end-
"God so many Cybermen. What do we do?" "Let's just leave" "Okay" -end-
Makes sense to me.
I like them more actually. Less stomping, better voices.
Same amount of stomping. I actually was tapping my toe to it without realising. Voices are better. Upgrade system is far too Borg. As if "You will be assimilated" wasn't enough. But they lacked any personality. Classic Who Cybermen would taunt and discuss plans and.. talk. The Cybermen ONLY spoke in catchphrases this whole episode.

The parasite tech on the Doctor's face was the Cyberman personality for the episode, and I liked it a lot. Also even the rank-and-file Cybermen had personality. It wasn't what they said, but what they did - the trickery with the detached head and so on was pretty neat.

Can we just point out and get very excited that in this trailer you see a 70's Clara. WHO NEARLY GETS RAN OVER BY BESSIE And they've cut it in such a way you don't see [sp]The Third Doctor[/sp] driving it.
Matt Smith was great, I didnt really like the episode though
Okay, we got rid of Rose! Onto Martha! Lazarus is gonna do his experiment on my stream now! Join! We got 15 people earlier and it was mental. Rowtree and Nurdock have been here for five hours, major props. www.livestre.am/dbio

Oh god not the movie trailer inception music thing again :v: [sp]Anyone think that's Gallifrey or Trenzalore in the first few seconds of the trailer? Looks a little bit similar to the The End of Time Gallifrey[/sp]

They seem to be using the washed out original film reels from the BBC archived as opposed to the recoloured and remastered DVD releases from 4Entertain. Which is understandable. They've also done the same to Clara so she fits in with the footage.
If THE line isn't included, I'll be disappointed: http://youtu.be/spAGKcWHHss?t=1m57s You know the one. GREAT BALLS OF FIRE Wonder if it's when he mounts the kerb :v:
Taking a short break from the stream because I had literally no viewers will resume at 10PM GMT with Partners in Crime, stream will conclude with The Next Doctor. See you at 10.
I had fun this episode, especially the chess bits. Next weeks finale looks pretty damn awesome and very interesting. Can't wait, again.
I liked the Cybermen being more of a threat now, but maybe they were quite a bit too strong (feels like the end of S2 would have turned ugly for the Daleks a lot sooner if the Cybermen were these Cybermen). Also they lost a lot of their creepyness. The children and Clara were the weakest part, Smith's performance was the high point.
and we're back www.livestre.am/dbio get hyped for some terrible donna action
The children and Clara were the weakest part, Smith's performance was the high point.
what was the point of the children again i mean, they're basically kicked out of the plot for 75% of the episode, and don't really have much effect on the story apart from them being the reason the crew visited the theme park was it mandatory to have some children go around with the doctor for one episode, for kid appeal?
The children were just awful, who on Earth would act the way they did? [editline]11th May 2013[/editline] Also am I the only one who thought it felt a bit rushed near the end? I think it should have been a two part episode really.
The children were million years better than the brothers from TARDIS. But as far as children go they weren't the best the show has had, usually the children and Matt steal the show together.
