Guess as his character develops this costume will seem perfect but looking at it now it seems a bit tight around the chest and I'd have liked wilder hair - the Doctor usually favours mad hair and Capaldi's is very neat.

I could see his costume having his sonic screwdriver attached to a gold chain like a pocket watch.

Trackboy said it was getting a new prop but it doesn't look like it. It's really hard to tell. I guess it could be thinner but it could just be the picture. It could be a different colour inside (looks golden) or it could be pre-lighting set up.
The most interesting part? A TARDIS sitting on a modern day high street for what feels like the first time in forever. How good is that?!

I may be the only person (in this thread at least) but... I don't like the new outfit. Just looks like something any old person on the street might be wearing on a halfway cold day. Comes across and standard and cheap to me.

No biggie. I'm sure people felt the same about Chris's costume.
Certainly, it's not fancy, but every once in a while I think it's fine for the Doctor to look more plain (if only to finish balancing out all the 80s costumes, heh). Besides, perhaps when we start seeing Capaldi's costume get slight variations in certain articles like there has been (shirt/waistcoat color swap and the like) it could look a little more nifty. I know Chris looks his least interesting when his t-shirt was black.

That's actually a really neat idea. They did place emphasis on the phone being off the hook, so that's a great idea.
