I can just never think of anything to say.

I just have better things to do when the show isn't on - like maybe, maybe, maybe seeing Prince on Friday!

I don't think you understand that this is the Doctor Who thread, not the "talk about our lives and birthdays!!!" Thread.
I really hope they move the Daleks to series 9 or 10
I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you, the new Doctor is never 100% the Doctor for some people until he battles the Daleks. :v:
Modern Who series without the Daleks.
Ha. Not going to happen.
To be fair, there have only been seven Dalek stories since 2005 that were 100% about the Daleks: Dalek, Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday, Daleks in Manhattan/Evolution of the Daleks, Stolen Earth/Journey's End, Victory of the Daleks and Asylum of the Daleks.
In Pandorica Opens/Big Bang/Time of the Doctor, they were just kind of helping out, they weren't central to the plot. Likewise in the 50th special, they Daleks were more of the setting than the antagonists.
It's been ages since the last story that was just "we're the daleks we're evil bastards that want to destroy everything". Daleks aren't overused at all.
Daleks are contractually obligated to be in at least 1 episode of Doctor Who a year due to the Estate of Terry Nation

last series* :v: But that's split series for you.
There was a possibility that a Series 8 contained a 'ghost story' to which somebody remarked we just had Hide, followed by a comment that it was a while ago.
But then you remember that it was six episodes ago. Time fixes everything when it moves really slowly in the right order.
I don't mind the Daleks as long as it's not a "we're gonna destroy the entire world AGAIN" story. Lets have a story like Dalek from Series One. I wouldn't mind that at all.
I have no problem with the Daleks appearing every year. When done right they're incredible.
It's not like Star Trek Voyager and the Borg appearing all the time. Daleks are an as important part of the show as the TARDIS or Doctor himself.
I ment they are a bit overused at the moment, as they were in the last two episodes.
They were not the focus of either though.
They weren't solid Dalek stories. Both were Doctor stories. The next episode is likely a Doctor story too.

This wouldn't surprise me. Source?
Their next appearance will be their 100th episode.

How many seasons do you think Capaldi will last? I'd say one or two, unless they change the schedule for filming, as I think he'll get tired out. It's a real gruelling schedule.
Fingers crossed for not just one, like Eccleston. It would make sense though, as then if Moffat leaves at the end of Series 8 there would be a clean slate for the new show runner (not sure if that's a good or a bad thing, depends on stuff).
More than one. Don't want a new Eccleston.
Going to assume one.

Very subtle there Clara.
Just walked into the Uni radio station I manage, and I hear the show that's on playing 'The Majestic Tale (Of a Mad Man in a Box)'.
It was a happy moment.
