So Lego has its customer-creation zone where a proposed set can get picked up if it gets ten thousand votes. There is a blacklist negating certain franchises. Doctor Who is no longer on the blacklist.
Did Character's license for the Doctor Who creation sets run out or something?
Dunno about prior licenses. Here's the link. To think we may see Lego Doctor Who: The Video Game... and/or cameos in future Lego movies. I'm trying to think what the coolest console room would be, or what the console would even look like.
I don't understand why people think the Doctor can't love another person after Rose, after (I'm assuming) Susan's grandmother, after falling in love with Madame Pompadour (which I quite liked). The man is over one thousand years old - I can love again after my partner and I broke up and I'm a regular guy. But I don't want the companion to have a side story of love. I want another Donna. I want another regular person. I love Clara, and the new companion looks great, but I don't want them to resort to using romantic love as a reason to bring it all together. It's over-done.
I know it's an exaggeration, but it's a fairly groundless one. The Doctor was never THIS obsessed with Rose, and he never really brought her up unless someone directly asked him or if it was relevant in the situation.

Come on, it's just a silly comic. So if Lego make a Doctor Who set it means they can start making Lego Doctor Who games. Imagine that! Know how Lego Star Wars had 8 worlds? One for each film? They could do that with Doctor Who. But do one world for each Doctor. Get them back to voice them/impressions.

I've always thought how amazing it would be in a world without licenses if Doctor could come into other films', books' and shows' universes. Hanging out on USS Enterprise? Sure. Fighting with Voldemort? Sure. Stephen King's Gunslinger - no problem.
The LEGO CUUSOO (community suggestions) program only allows for one set per idea so far; e.g. the Back To The Future Delorean they did recently. Even if Doctor Who got through the 10,000 votes stage, only one set would be produced, and there would need to be a massive response for them to pick it up for a full line like they are doing with Minecraft (they are working on minifigure scale sets and releasing two more mini Minecraft sets, and that's probably additionally because Mojang are a small company, not a behemoth like BBC which would make it hard to licence the sets). But before we even can consider that, someone needs to put a Doctor Who idea forward on the website. It'd have to be fairly small though, so unfortunately I don't think any of the newer TARDISes could be replicated. Sorry for ruining the fun, but at least it means the fans could make the start of what possibly could be a hugely successful Doctor Who LEGO line.

Does anyone else think the Angels are the only scary ones in the show? At least from a viewers perspective.
Does anyone else think the Angels are the only scary onesin t heser? At least from a viewers perspective.
What.
I don't know how to describe it but just from those YouTube videos I can tell that Capaldi moves correctly. Whatever that means.
Why is it taking so long to make the new series?
Why is it taking so long to make the new series?
A whole two months so far. Something must have gone wrong - I was expecting to air each episode per month. That way we have Doctor Who all year round!
What.
I don't even know, phone did a weird thing apparently.
