Does anyone else think the Angels are the only scary ones in the show? At least from a viewers perspective.
The Weeping Angels are the only recurring monsters that are scary. I can think of several one-time-only monsters that are far more terrifying though, like the dolls in that playhouse in Night Terrors and the "ghost" in Hide.

The exhibition currently features an interactive experience based around Matt Smith's Doctor and Series 5's storylines. Den of Geek reports that the walk-through adventure part of the Doctor Who Experience will be closed for around six weeks later this year to prepare for the switchover, before Capaldi's new experience opens in the autumn. The main exhibition, featuring props and costumes fromt he show, will remain open during the switchover period.
I found the Vashta Nerada more comical than scary honestly.
I'm 21 this year. I don't find any of it scary. Though as a kid I found a fair bit scary, Angels were the last thing I found scary but I was getting older. Blink doesn't even provoke a slight reaction. I was disappointed to see Empty Child doesn't either. Ahh the fun of getting old.
just you wait. you'll have to deal with adult fears
The dolls from Night Terrors creep me out. But that's because I have a phobia of dolls.
just you wait. you'll have to deal with adult fears
A Doctor Who episode about finding a job in the media and managing a social life with no income would be terrifying.
DOCTOR WHO AND THE ATTACK OF THE PROSTATE CANCER
Where's that episode list that had a load of episodes like that? I think Dan made it. Edit: Found it!
Some episodes from the upcoming serious tone series: Series 8 Episode 1: The Doctor And Racism In this thrilling episode The Doctor and Clara land in an office workplace where a young man called Jerry Smith is persecuted based on the colour of his skin. At the end Jerry can no longer continue to accept the prejudice and drives his car off a bridge. Clara struggles to comes to terms with death. This episode debuts the new look TARDIS which is just a house. Episode 2: The Doctor Deals With Depression Still depressed over the events of the previous week Clara turns to recreational highs to numb the pain. The Doctor is devastated to find Clara naked and crying in the TARDIS bathroom. After weeks of counseling Clara is released finally trusted to be on her own. Tired of his pandering, Clara eventually breaks down and tells The Doctor she's no longer attracted to his wrinkly old body. In a rage The Doctor accidentally strikes Clara. She moves out that night. It's revealed towards the end that everybody forgot The Doctor's birthday. Episode 3: AIDS Episode 4: The Doctor Becomes a Devout Muslim No details on those later episodes but there is a story arc where River helps Clara deal with an unwanted pregnancy. The Doctor also visits a planet where the species have been trafficked into the sex trade by the cruel human overlords. There's also a moving scene where The Doctor cries in the shower. I'll keep you updated as the spoiler hounds leak these no doubt legit details. Oh also Murray is out. The soundtrack is now entirely a low level hum with the occasional slow piano piece.
The Statue of Liberty angel gave me nightmares but i am also afraid of the statue of liberty and any other large statue so.
The last thing in Doctor Who to scare me was this in Forest of the Dead.

You can almost feel the show's tonal shift based on the use of colour in their outfits alone. Dulls and slithers of red. Gothic. Nice.
The flowery bedsheets scared me most of all.
I didn't think there'd be a way to defuse the Adult Fear drama behind that scene. I underestimated the internet.
How do we even know that this guy is a second companion? He was only listed as a "recurring character", so he may be as well a villain or someone from the government (there was a surprising lack of Torchwood, during this last few seasons, but now with Capaldi as a Doctor I hope they're gonna retcon this).
I'm hoping Captain Jack comes back. We need more Harkness in our lives
I saw him first
My niece and Peter Capaldi, she’s autistic and was having trouble reconciling his regeneration. He took time out of filming to reassure her.

Somebody should tell Mackinnon to film all of w/c 10th's scenes in very public areas around Cardiff. [sp]Don't mess me about with this, Freeze[/sp]
I'll be completely honest I have no idea what you mean when you say 'w/c 10th's scenes' Probably something obvious that I know but I'M TIRED :v:
I'll be completely honest I have no idea what you mean when you say 'w/c 10th's scenes' Probably something obvious that I know but I'M TIRED :v:
I'd probably go with week commencing, but it may mean something else.

I want one.
Saw four unread posts after Grizz's question to Freeze, thought "Yes, something really awesome!" ... Adipose plush. Wasn't disappointed.
