they'll come back, they always do :v:
Noooooo :( [editline]7th March 2014[/editline] Actually. To be fair. Things have moved in such a way I can't really post as much either. I maybe have gotten over the whole internet forum thing. I'll still lurk a bit as I like you guys but I won't be reading every post anymore which I have been doing for years. I'm simply too busy. I have a few of you on at least one social networking or other, if you're that interested drop me a PM, I can't promise a reply as I might never get round to reading  To days to come, and all my love to long ago. Cya later.
One day, I shall come back! Yes I shall come back.
Series 8 So apparently Sylvester McCoy [sp]knows who The Master is - expecting him to be 'very scary' when described at Newcastle Comic Con. According to one of the usual sources cited here, he was cast two months ago.[/sp]
please be charles dance
who the frack is the dance of charles?
the hand of the king you insolent bastard
oh tywin lannister
I'd like it very much if John Simm came back one more time to pass the torch to the next guy. Moffat has been writing a lot of regenerations (relatively) close together. Who says he was only on a roll with the Doctor's regenerations? (Resuming the Master's desperate hops in other's bodies wouldn't be amiss either. I think it provides a good contrast to the Doctor's regenerations.)
What if it's a man with a big movie deal and has worked with Peter Jackson?
What if it's a man with a big movie deal and has worked with Peter Jackson?
Sylvester McCoy confirmed to be the Master
the only bad thing about the master being cast is that now we know that the story arc will centre around the Master. And while I love the master, it's got to be done right - the last two stories he's been in have been about his return (and subsequent demise). something else would be amazing, no matter what it is [editline]9th March 2014[/editline] On another note, I realised I'd never seen Human Nature/Family of Blood before. I have no idea why. Just like that, they're two of my favourite episodes ever. There needs to be more everything like that.
Yup, Human Nature and Family of Blood are still my absolute favourite episodes.
Has anyone ever played the Solitaire Story game? I found it last night and it looks interesting but it can get very confusing http://dwssg.averyniceplace.de/wiki/doku.php?id=start
Long image so thumbed it [T]http://global3.memecdn.com/what-if-doctor-who-was-an-american-tv-show_o_2868707.jpg[/T]
Can we have Bryan Cranston as the Doctor anyway? That'd be so good.
Some of those would be brilliant Doctors but I don't get the Donald Glover/Childish Gambino connection to Matt Smith
Hnnng Kyle MacLachlan
Some of those would be brilliant Doctors but I don't get the Donald Glover/Childish Gambino connection to Matt Smith
He doesn't even look similar in terms of attire, the others at least have some of the aspects right.
I'm surprised they never tried for an american version of Doctor Who anyway.
Vincent Price Doctor, oooh booy. I'd would've payed lots of money to see that.

Though I'm sure Fox execs poked at it. Or maybe Fox execs don't poke anything, which is why they cancel so many shows yet so many of their shows are so good... Oh that TV movie...
David Mitchell as the master :v: .
yeah he'd be perfect but "BBC"
True and didn't they just remove BBC 5 or something. But what about if it was funded elsewhere ?
http://www.walesonline.co.uk/whats-on/whats-on-news/doctor-who-steve-john-shepherd-6786527 After watching him in eastenders, I'd agree that he'd suit the role
i don't care how out of line it is, i need donald glover and bryan cranston as the doctor. [editline]10th March 2014[/editline]
Can we have Bryan Cranston as the Doctor anyway? That'd be so good.
come on freeze make this fucking happen papa's got to get his fix of good tv
What if Hal from Malcolm in the Middle had a Gallifreyian pocket watch? Then BC could actually be The Doctor [sp]Either the best thing ever or the stupidest thing ever - haven't decided[/sp]
I didn't think being "American" could really effect a show so much. Then I watched Miracle day which featured extremely dumb rocket launcher fights and driving away from explosions on motorcycles, with a completely different tone from everything else.
Gene Wilder as the Fourth Doctor? Sign me up for American Who.

It all depends on the person running the show.
If it had started early on (I'm talking like mid-60s, NOT the TV movie), an American Who could have been in every way as good as the British version.
