Nah that's Tom. He even released a press release about how exciting it is. He's old, he naturally sounds very different. An impersonator wouldn't sound like an impersonator. That's the point of an impersonator :v: And with that.. back I fade into the shadows.
we all know you can't stay away :v:
It's been too long. Can't wait to see Classic Who regularly on TV again.
Things being re-run on Horror always seem to have great trailers. Like this Twin Peaks one (not biased at all)
Oh, for a moment there I thought we were getting a new Twin Peaks season, but it's just a re-run trailer. That said there's apparently still interest in a revival, and after all, it's been 25 years since that dream where the ghost of Laura Palmer said "I'll see you again in 25 years". Meanwhile... Twin Peaks aside, I've been outta the thread for a long time, any updates on when Season 8's starting up?
August 30th is looking most likely. But it will be that or September 6th.
Wen to check to see how much a subscription for Doctor Who Magazine is in the US, $167.46. Who would pay that much for a subscription and why does it cost that much :suicide:
It'd be cool if next year, for the 10th anniversary of New-Who, we got a little minisode like Time Crash except it's Capaldi and Eccleston. I'm sure if it was for Children in Need Chris might do it, since he's always signed Doctor Who things if their for charity n stuff.

Matt Smith
"For me the best storytelling was in Series 5. It had great adventure and great clarity and I loved that whole idea about the Pandorica and the Big Bang. It was the one I connected with most."
I'm sure many would agree.
The Name of the Doctor was better than The Pandorica/The Big Bang imo.
As a single episode, I would agree that The Name of the Doctor was better than The Big Bang. But as an arc, I was willing Clara Who /The First Question / Trenzalore to end ASAP. Series 5 was well balanced - disregarding the hanging question of The Silence.

Happy 56th, Peter Capaldi!
Peter is actually that old? I would've guess he was in his 30s-40s.
Speaking of people being old and whatnot, I was watching a historical drama from 1966 earlier, featuring a mid-20s John Hurt:
