I requested him to do other Doctor's speeches as 11, if you wanna hear that you should request 'em too.
Oh my god, my grandmother wants to knit the 4th Doctor's scarf for me! I'm so happy!
A friend crocheted one for me out of the kindness of her heart. They're very nice in the winter. And even still you can use them as pseudo-blankets. wittylittleknitter.com is a great resource for scarf-building. I have the season 13 variant. What's handiest is you can adjust for height based on season.
My nana was knitting me a 4th doctor scarf. but she ran out of wool halfway through so now it's got like 12 colours as she just used various spool ends to finish it off :v:
Can't believe it's been 7 years since Human Nature/Family of Blood aired. Fuck I feel old. I was 17/18 then!

Are they shooting the episodes in order? Because that's cool.
The hair is growing out, cool!
I think that might just be the wind, they normally try to keep hair consistent over a series.
Are they shooting the episodes in order? Because that's cool.
Some are getting filmed at the same time, but yes pretty much in order I believe.
So we're going to get something more akin to Tennant(or all the older ones who filmed in order). Where we'll see a steady progression in Capaldi growing into his Doctor.
This is well made and is going to make me miss smith even more
i thought this was cool i know the name of the video is wrong

Is Capalcoat a part of the costume or just a between takes coat to keep him dry? Because they look nothing like the usual coat the cats wear between takes.
Capaldi's Doctor looks gloriously gothic. Is Capalcoat a part of the costume or just a between takes coat to keep him dry? Because they look nothing like the usual coat the cats wear between takes.
It'll be a coat to keep him dry and warm in between takes.
It'll be a coat to keep him dry and warm in between takes.
you don't know that for sure I don't either, but Dan is right when he says those look nothing like the usual coats
I think it was just a coat as they were both wearing them for rehearsals.
Argh please leave the coat out, it's Colin Baker's one all over again.
It really is not. :v:
Doctor Who Could Have Ended With Tennant http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/doctor-who-could-have-ended-with-tennant-63467.htm
An enthusiastic report about meeting Peter & Jenna doing the rounds :v: Though I will say I got the same reaction from JC about Emmerdale :)
Doctor Who Could Have Ended With Tennant http://www.doctorwhotv.co.uk/doctor-who-could-have-ended-with-tennant-63467.htm
So I have to thank Matt Smith for keeping Doctor Who on the air? Eugh.
So I have to thank Matt Smith for keeping Doctor Who on the air? Eugh.
Based on the article, more like RTD for being persuasive enough to prevent the BBC from canning things after he and David left. But Matt probably did play a role by the way he helped keep the young Whovians coming in and adoring him just as much as they did David.
So I have to thank Matt Smith for keeping Doctor Who on the air? Eugh.
Not even implied by the article. You do have to partly thank him for it's maintained popularity and major overseas success. Eugh.
Man, I hate actors who win awards playing a character I love. Just.. eugh.
eugh.

Don't remember seeing this posted...
The guy who is playing the Doctor in that doesn't suit it. I don't know what it is about him but his face just doesn't suit 10 (even in cosplay terms) for some reason. The voice is very good (while obviously dubbed over). While typing this I looked at the behind the scenes and apparently it's a girl playing him. That explains it. It's a shame cause it was really good otherwise but the Doctor just looked so weird for me I can't look away. EDIT: Also why do cosplayers/people in general pretending to be 10 always wear the glasses? He didn't even wear them that much... I get having them sometimes but not all the time.

The singer - real name Louisa Rose Allen - said that she "can't believe" she is going to be appearing on "one of the UK's most iconic shows". She will perform a song during her appearance on the sci-fi series, although it isn't yet clear if she will play herself or a fictional character. Speaking about her casting, Foxes said: "I can't believe I'm actually going to be in an episode of Doctor Who! Especially as it all came about from a chance meeting. "I was playing a gig and got chatting to the show's production team who'd been watching my performance. I was telling them how much I loved Doctor Who and next thing they invited me to be on it. "I couldn't think of a better place to make my acting debut than on one of the UK's most iconic shows!" Meanwhile, lead writer Steven Moffat said: "We are completely thrilled that the amazingly talented Foxes is joining us on board... well, you'll see. Let's just say, the Doctor is finally catching up on his phone calls." Doctor Who's eighth series - Peter Capaldi's first as The Doctor - will air on BBC One in August.
Here's some Foxes facts pinched from Wales Online to celebrate this news:
1. With a name like Foxes, you might think she was American Actually named Louisa Rose Allen (not to be confused with Lilly Rose Allen!) she was born in Southampton, now based in London and better known by her stage name Foxes. 2. Don't confuse with those Norwegian funsters who sang What Did The Fox Say Louisa actually has her mother to thank for the unusual stage name. It came about after her mother described a “haunting and beautiful” dream in which foxes ran down their street, howling. Allen, who had been attempting to find a suitable stage name, settled on "Foxes" 3. Her part in Doctor Who is not the only good news she has had to share this week It is a very 'Happy' week for the singer, as it has also been announced that she is going on tour with singer of the moment Pharrell Williams supporting him on his UK and European dates. 4. She's won a Grammy Awards Despite being barely known in America, and dare we say it here in the UK either, she picked up an award for Best Dance Recording at the 56th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles in January this year.
She's not my kind of thing. But in my eyes the team have yet to miscast anybody. The guest stars are usually always really well done. As for the hint Moffat gave about catching up on phone calls? Reminds me of the ending of Series 5
