I think they've been thinking too hard about the title sequence since series 6. The cloudy sequence reached its peak at A Christmas Carol and then we had to have [t]http://doctorwhofan98.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/drwhotitlecard12.png[/t] and the title itself has been degrading ever since.
I actually like the general randomness of the current one but it feels unfinished somehow. Again its weakest point is when the DOCTOR WHO shows up and really that should make you excited, not blehh. And then the TARDIS with its lack of lighting in the vortex... bleh...
Judging from the new texture of the Doctor Who font in the teaser we'll be getting something different come series 8.
I just keep getting a 73/74-era vibe. Like the format of the show is going to be really sleek and smooth. I hope the Derbyshire theme gets put back in. I know the teaser used the 7b theme but I don't think they'd introduce a new tune at the back end of a trailer.
I quite like the current one. But even if I didn't I'd rather keep everything the same for consistency between Doctors which I really missed when we jumped from Tennant to Smith.
Canada finally has the second half of Season 7 on Netflix!
For the last, year or so they only had episodes up to 'The Snowmen'
Now they have every episode up to 'The Name of the Doctor'

Series 1-3 intro will always be my favorite because of the music. It feels like the perfect blend of Classic Who and NuWho. Series 4 turned it into a sort of orchestral piece with guitar riffs here and there, and that was fine, but I didn't particularly like it. And now all of the Series 5-7 intros don't even sound like the original theme until you get to the main melody. I really hope Series 8 goes back to the natural balance between the old and the new that 1-3 had.
I'd like Eccelstone/Tennant's Doctor Who theme with something similar to Smith's original title sequence.

I've been wondering, if the Silent were [sp]created by humans to be 'priests'[/sp], why did they claim to have ruled the planet for a long time? I would of preferred if they had stuck with that story, what the Silence actually turned out to be was pretty disappointing.
