Holy shit, this is going to be amazing
honestly stanley's parable itself could make a pretty awesome episode
He's got to be playing some sort of coldly malevolent AI. He's got to be.
The west coast of the US has spent more time with Doctor Who than most of Britain :v:
yea cause everyone can go to San Diego Comicon
He's got to be playing some sort of coldly malevolent AI. He's got to be.
"The Doctor awoke and discovered that all of his companions were gone..." EDIT: Also at the end of Capaldi's era he should show up again to say, "The end is never the end."
yea cause everyone can go to San Diego Comicon
...whereas I'm sure these events will be completley accessible to everyone at minimal cost. Oh, no, the BBC is involved. :v:
I'm starting to think this is a sign that I need to set aside some time to watch more Classic Who. or skeletor is just sending me into spiraling insanity
Face your fear directly and see The Deadly Assassin. The Gallifrey of dark sets full of old men, the Master as a zombie, and Tom Baker wandering about trying to prove he doesn't need a companion to steer the show. What fun.
"The Doctor awoke and discovered that all of his companions were gone..."
I want a Stanley Parable episode now.
It has been a very pleasant week so far at BBC NOW HQ. On Tuesday, we were recording part of the new Doctor Who soundtrack. It’s always lovely to work with Murray, Ben and the team, and it was nice to get to work on some of the new cues and themes for Doctor number 12! There was much excitement during our evening session as Peter Capaldi popped in to listen to some of the session. He was very lovely! He was also accompanied by another actor, but I won’t say who, just in case they are in the new series and it’s supposed to be a surprise. Spoilers and all that, you know!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/wales/posts/Recording-the-new-Doctor-Who-soundtrack
New music, EEEEEEEE!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/wales/posts/Recording-the-new-Doctor-Who-soundtrack
The 'other actor' is actually Jenna Coleman and Gold just doesn't watch the series or have any idea what the fuck it's even about
The 'other actor' is actually Jenna Coleman and Gold just doesn't watch the series or have any idea what the fuck it's even about
"Time travel? I thought it was a medical drama!"
Also at the end of Capaldi's era he should show up again to say, "The end is never the end."
Oh my God. That would be fantastic.
Set Pictures http://instagram.com/colseywolsey1 Use spoiler tags if discussing. But it's getting weird.
I thought those pictures of that canyon were part of filming too, but then I saw the dog.
May also be some casting announcement(s) this weekend... apparently.
That's interesting about Capaldi visiting the scoring. So basically he's been acting without knowing what his "hero theme" is. Of course who's to say how that affects anyone's acting. New themes!
When are we going to get our Day of the Doctor soundtrack... :(
Buy Series 1-7 soundtracks and you have every piece of music in there IIRC :v:
Set Pictures http://instagram.com/colseywolsey1 Use spoiler tags if discussing.
Set Pictures http://instagram.com/colseywolsey1 Use spoiler tags if discussing. But it's getting weird.
[sp]It'd be cool if they explored the 'space' side of 'anywhere in time and space' a little more, like what happens when space gets distorted (remember Planet of Giants)?[/sp]
[sp]It'd be cool if they explored the 'space' side of 'anywhere in time and space' a little more, like what happens when space gets distorted (remember Planet of Giants)?[/sp]
[sp]Yeah, I agree. I think that in the past few series (series 6, specifically) they've explained what happens when time gets muddled up (eurgh - I mean 'wibbly wobbly timey wimey'), so I agree in the sense that I'd like to see where the distortion of space could lead things.[/sp]
Well I watched Talons Of Weng-Chiang today which is probably not the most politically correct serial in the world and a shame too because its brilliant otherwise. Then there is The Caves Of Androzani starring Solid Snake which is absolutely amazing TV in general and to me ranks as one of the top individual episodes of a TV show. Now I have to watch the TV film and I'm fearing the worst.
The Caves Of Androzani starring Solid Snake
Glad I'm not the only one who thought this:
I just watched Doctor Who The Movie, or as I shall now refer it "A train crash in slow motion". It was like it was made by people who only had half an idea about what Doctor Who was about. I've seen it once and it looks like I will never attempt to do so again.
it's not that bad
It's just different. I went in to it expecting it to be awful, I really liked it.
