Thought they would've wanted to stick to a color other than orange after the last two designs.
I hate that doctor ^ , He make me feel like i'm watching the 70s doctor who,
I would rather have Matt smith but I say the best Doctor is DAVID TENANT :D

its like 1st gen pokemon but with doctors
go, david tenant, I choose you
if/when the fiveish doctors 2 happens i'd be awesome if tennant and smith were part of the doctor team this time around (with capaldi making a cameo)

Guys, I think we have just witnessed the first instance of time travel! I mean, the only way someone could form a full opinion about Capaldi's Doctor is if they have seen his entire series, and that doesn't come out until August.
Or this guy is just one of those people that think old = bad and who assume things based on backstage pictures. I dunno.
Sorry about that guys, Commented with a sleepy head, I didn't seem to explain it the exact way I wanted to, What I meant to say is that I don't like the way he is protrayed and with some of the videos I've seen recently like etc. I feel like when the episodes do come out that it honestly will feel like watching Doctorwho from the old days, Idk why exactly I feel like that but I do.
Honestly wouldn't it be nice to see Two Doctors traveling together like if am right with David Tenant he had a human replicate of himself, Or with Matt smith and that liquid that could copy anyone's shape/Voice/Etc. It would be funny to see how the 2 doctors would work together to solve a mystery rather then having another human companion due it with him. I honestly would love it if Matt smith or David tenant just came back and they be the main doctors.

But in the old days the Doctor traveled with a time lord (time lady). What's wrong with ClassicWho?

You literally just asked for something that happened on 'Doctorwho from the old days'.

so basically you just want smith and tennant back no matter what right??
season 7 was amazing, as was the day of the doctor
can't wait for season 8 and for it to get on netflix
It will take quite a bit of time for it to go on netflix after it comes out, Yes I do remember the Old Days now thxs for reminding me!
Plus I would rather have Matt or David back at least one or both because I feel like they fit the Doctor Who image quite well.
Glad the producers didn't have that mindset. Doctor Who wouldn't have survived for very long.
I got s7 & Day of the Doctor for my birthday yay, my parents know what I like.
Actually, I thought of something budget-related the other day.
Suppose you took the budget the show originally had when it first started, and adjusted it for inflation. How would it compare with the budget the show currently has, per episode? What kind of things would the producers be able to do with that amount of money?
Just an interesting thought.

I can't be sure, but I thought it was just over £2000 at the start?
Inflation calculators put that around 36k today. It might have to be a Doctor-lite episode. :v:
Holy shit it was that little?
Well, if you see An Adventure in Space and Time, you can sort of see how shitty everything about the sets and studios is. The BBC were SUPER on-the-fence about it in the start.
For some reason I thought about the first 9th doctor episode for a second, but yeah, it's still tiny.
I still hope one day BBC expands the budget for Doctor Who. I mean, just look at the fans and people watching it; it has a worldwide audience. With larger budget Doctor Who could make bigger stories with even more depth and perhaps more episodes. Just do it BBC, you won't regret it.
It gets a LOT already. But the BBC has limits.
It's funded by money from the taxpayer. If it spends too much on something 'the public' (the sheep that read tabloids) doesn't think is necessary then there's a massive backlash. A few years ago information came out on how much BBC Radio 1 Presenters were paid. People felt Chris Moyles shouldn't be a millionaire for his easy job (specially considering his team did all the heavy lifting). He went on to get paid less, then for a period payed nothing at all, and then he seemingly jumped ship before he was pushed. The BBC has to be so careful with it's spending. In the past people have already criticised the BBC for spending too much on Doctor Who. Doctor Who brings in more money than it has spent on it without a doubt, but people are ignorant of that in the same way they're ignorant the Royal Family brings in more than it costs.
Mrs Brown's Boys gets a movie because it's cheap to make. Doctor Who will get a movie at the expense of losing a series or two on the TV. In the same way an Anniversary cost us an episode of Series 8.

Also I found somebody made Peter Capaldi in Sims 3. Not sure what I think:

That hair tho
Ok so I just finished watching
"doctor.who.2005.50th.anniversary.special.the.day.of.the.doctor"
is that really the movie which is 1 Hour/16 Mins/30 Seconds long?
I heard all the doctors are in the movie but you only see ALL the doctors at like 2 places and mostly just see 3 doctors during the whole thing, Did I watch the wrong movie or something? I feel like I did.
