Ok so I just finished watching "doctor.who.2005.50th.anniversary.special.the.day.of.the.doctor" is that really the movie which is 1 Hour/16 Mins/30 Seconds long?
That is the special episode which aired last year, yes. Starring Matt Smith, David Tennant & John Hurt.
I heard all the doctors are in the movie
They are.
but you only see ALL the doctors at like 2 places
Then you heard correctly.
mostly just see 3 doctors during the whole thing
The Day of The Doctor: Starring Matt Smith, David Tennant & John Hurt. Sorry that John Hurt had to be involved. I know that he's old.

Wednesday 7th June 1989 ... is 91 days before the nearest Doctor Who episode falls in between seasons falls nearest the Classic era's season 26 features the 7th Doctor (Sylvester McCoy, 1987-89) Battlefield - Part 1 First broadcast: Wednesday 6th September, 1989 Doctor and Ace receive a mysterious distress signal and land in the Earth village of Carbury, where a nuclear convoy has halted. The Doctor's concern is heightened when knights from another dimension begin to land in the area. Nearby is Lake Voortigen, the mythical resting-place of Excalibur, King Arthur's mystical sword ... but the lake holds a more sinister secret. A spaceship from the same alien dimension lurks under the lake - but does it really contain Arthur’s corpse? And what is it that the Witch Queen, Morgaine, is really after?
Sorry to go back a whole page but I just wanted to say how happy I am that the TARDIS will have a different interior color. I know the teaser trailer is just a...well, you know what? We didn't see the time column in that trailer so we totally could be getting a new one that's a different color and actually has more than that little whatever in the center(from Snowmen to now) to go up and down with.
@rtalalay Celebratory 100th slate today. thanks to a brilliant crew for a great first week. Initiate Crescendo.

100th slate picture
That screwdriver... is it just the lighting making it look different?

Just indulging nostalgia... (look at those thumbnail lips)
I'm not running away. But this is one corner of one country on one continent on one planet that's a corner of a galaxy that's a corner of a universe that is forever growing and shrinking and creating and destroying and never remaining the same for a single millisecond, and there is so much... so much to see, Amy. Because it goes so fast. I'm not running away from things, I am running to them. Before they flare and fade forever.
...and I just remembered how much I love that little speech. For all his foolery, I shall remember 11 much more for these little moments.
http://tardisday.com
Seeing this makes me want to watch more of Sylvester McCoy's era of Doctor Who. Only one I've seen is Remembrance of the Daleks and that was only because it was the only Seventh Era episode of the Doctors Revisited Dvd set
I'm a bit confused, I watched the Doctor Who Christmas movie or whatever it was called so at the near end you know how he was dying and Clara asked the time lords to save him? Ya I see the yellow color go inside of him aka Regeneration but the thing is will that only last for 1 more life or will they give him a butch of more lives?

Minus the one at the end of the episode.

Wasn't it "thoroughly" explained by 11 to Clara at the end of the episode before his wrecking farewell speech or do I remember that wrong
it wasn't thoroughly explained
it was thoroughly explained https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPuV7mA-PB4#t=33
enough to go on but I can see how it may be confusing or lead to some questions for an average viewer [editline]21st June 2014[/editline]
it was thoroughly explained https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPuV7mA-PB4#t=33
the only line of that that explains the question asked is 'whole new regeneration cycle' obviously to knowledgable fans we know what that means, but to some people a regeneration cycle could mean just a new life

"the boom and slump periods of a trade cycle" 2. a complete set or series. "the painting is one of a cycle of seven"
if you have to google the exact meaning of a word to know what it means (in this sort of situation) that means it wasn't thoroughly explained explained, yes, but not thoroughly if it was explained thoroughly anyone that's watching (provided they have watched the previous episodes) should know exactly what's going on
Ya I stopped watching doctor who once there was no more episodes of it on netflix, So I could gets caught up on a few things
Seeing this makes me want to watch more of Sylvester McCoy's era of Doctor Who. A good arc is Dragonfire, Remembrance, Silver Nemesis, and then season 26(with Fenric before Battlefield, preferably both as their movie versions. Everything else is a hard misfire in my opinion. I do have fun with the others, but the above order arcs and fits together tonally.))
obviously to knowledgable fans we know what that means, but to some people a regeneration cycle could mean just a new life
For 'some people' the whole idea of a regeneration cycle would have been new to them until it was re-introduced while watching that episode. The entire desire to resolve the issue was really for those who knew about it in the first place. (though I will say that the Deadly Assassin is not the most prolific source of the regeneration cycle. The TV movie made it more unavoidable.) But the line is still there should anybody want to find out what it all means. Name, Night, Day and Time were packed with history for fans. Intentionally so, I would imagine.

The point is that I can COMPLETELY see why newer and less hardcore (silly word but I can't think of another word that fits right now) fans would be confused because to them it wasn't thoroughly explained at all and that's it's a bit rude to say
Did you even follow the story at all in the special??
when it pretty clearly wasn't obviously explained to the general public because one line is not generally a thorough explanation (though I suppose if it was the right line it could be). I've talked to many people who've been confused about that point and weather it means he got one new life or a whole new set. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it not being gone over in detail I'm just saying it wasn't there and thus when someone asks in this thread about it it's crazy to act as if they're just being dumb.

It was my Dads 50th a few days ago so I keyed in his birthday and came up with The Sensorites which was broadcast the day after he was born.
All ripped from GB because, stuff.
Xmas will film in September I believe after the tour and press events for series 8.
