Ok I'm calling BS on the leak until I see some proof they did; otherwise it's just dumb publicity by the BBC. There would've been a torrent out by now if they were sent to all American pre-orders. The only pictures are from a dedicated DW blog, I wouldn't write a combined thing off until others show they have it.
It was sent to a handful. They started posting screencaps and plot recaps online.
Then come the attention seekers pretending they have one.
But either way the BBC would've checked and seen Amazon dispatched it. Hence the tweets.
Rumour mill is in full swing.
[sp]A rumour floating about that Matt has refused to renew his contract after a falling out with Steven Moffat. It why the two talk of eachother less in public, in the past they've praised eachother highly constantly. Ben Daniels is apparently the 12th Doctor.[/sp]
It's all rumour from non-known sources so I didn't spoiler tag it. Could turn out to be bull again. Probably will as it's very similar to rumours we heard from DAT BLOG.
EDIT:
Nevermind I checked with another forum which has a very reliable source posting there regularly and they claim the rumours Matt/Steven are no longer on speaking terms = true. Apparently it'll be pretty obvious at Comic Con this year if Matt goes and if they agree to appear together. [sp]The twelth Doctor is Ben Daniels[/sp]. Currently the Christmas special is CURRENTLY called [sp]Twelfth Night[/sp]. Matt is not expected to film much (if at all) for the Christmas special. It's possible the story will begin with [sp]his regeneration[/sp] or it will be seen in flashback. The length of time Matt is filming on the set of that film will mean he does not have time to regrow his hair. Unless he wears a wig, he has filmed all of his Eleventh Doctor scenes. This is why all the reliable sources were initially baffled by DAT BLOG. Because this is something they managed to get spot on despite making it up. Though there are many other reasons Matt and Steven have fallen out which I'm not going to list because frankly it's not important.
In other news Doctor Who Magazine is in turmoil. Licencing issues mean the staff of DWM weren't allowed to see the finale. Freelancers were, but not the staff. Expect a re-branding in November when the publisher changes. Possible layoffs too. DWM is denying it, understandably. But apparently the wheels are in motion.
Big rumoured spoilers for finale & 50th, dunno if you've seen this yet Source:
[sp]Synopsis: While his friends start to disappear and The Whisper Men threaten Vastra, Jenny and Strax, the Doctor is lured into a trap that threatens to reveal his past, present and future.
Internet rumors: The Whisper Men turn out to be controlled/working for The Great Intelligence, who has all the (or just post Time War ones) previous Doctors (most of these will be non speaking roles, with just footage of them used) captured and needs 11 to complete the set. Clara is either captured and banished/split into time or goes on a rescue mission to find the Doctors (or just the 11th). This is why he keeps meeting her at various points. It has also been stated by the actress that "Clara has meet the Doctor MORE than 3 times" when asked for a clue about her character. Another thing that has been posted is that Clara Oswin Oswald is an anagram of "A Window Across All".
The ending will have the other Doctors freed back to there time lines, apart from some (or just the 10th) that will be involved in the 50th special. However the ending will see us have a first glimpse of the 12th Doctor. This scene has only been filmed in the last few weeks due to casting the 12th of which there are now strong rumours that it is Ben Daniels. Other rumours suggest that it is the 12th Doctor that gives River her sonic at the end of the episode which is the last time she see's the Doctor before her fate in the Library with the 10th Doctor and Donna and brings River's story to a close.
The 12th Doctor might appear in the 50th as well, some rumours say 11 will in fact regenerate into 12 in the 50th, or it will happen in the Xmas special which is strongly rumoured to be called "12th Night".[/sp]
So after hearing all this talk of[sp]Ben Daniels being the new doctor[/sp]I went to his wikipedia page and I saw this.
Could contain spoilers, so I am linking it.

Someone else who heard the rumour will have added that, probably. There's no citation or anything.
Geeze, the looming shadow of these potential BTS rumors are a gloomy shadow over all the hype festivities for the series finale & the 50th.

I'd really like to know why they've fallen out. Hardly surprising though, you can tell from some interviews that Moffat seems really arrogant and hard to get on with.
Poor Matt. and you're saying [sp] They won't even give him a proper regeneration scene? That's just bullshit. [/sp]

Steps out of TARDIS and gets shot.
I used to know the partner of [sp]Ben Daniels[/sp] slightly a long time ago. I wonder if [sp]having a gay actor will mean sexual content or romance are left out completely, the actor will continue to portray the Doctor as liking girls, or the Doctor will reveal a gay side never before explored?[/sp]

any chance of [sp]ban daniels's hair being dyed red[/sp]?

Might want to spoiler that, it could be a promo picture but it also could be from the episode itself.
The design of that pic is far too awful and shove-it-down-your-throat to be an official pic
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
hold on this is the BBC we are talking about
actually it could be an official pic never mind

Nobody seems sure. He may have filmed it for the 50th, may have filmed it for Christmas as flashback.
There will be one, but nobody knows when.

BBC posted this on Facebook. Oh my god oh my god.
Could this possible be referencing an upcoming online episode set during 8's time? I can't believe something like that hasn't leaked yet- oh.
EDIT:
It's not though. It's [sp]from the pretitles[/sp]
Will david be in the next episode?
I'm liking this more grounded depiction of Gallifrey over the one we saw in I think 10's era which was all shininess and glowyness and general WOAH SUPER COOL ALIEN CITY generic-ass style

Pretty sure there was sand everywhere too.
I mean the actual buildings, not the environment they're situated in
But now I think about it didn't the old Tennant-era depictions of Gallifrey have mental red/orange skies and other wacky (and pretty corny) stuff?

Why wacky and corny? It is an alien planet, after all.

Ten's description of Gallifrey is pretty much exactly as Susan describes it in one of the earliest episodes. It may be corny, but that's what it is.
So if the speculations in the spoiler tags above are correct [sp]the Doctor is rescued by two women. If River dies and disappears from the timeline doesn't this imply a huge butterfly effect on the lives of Amy and Rory[/sp]

I bet it'll be explained with the Doctor saying wibbly wobbly timey wimey
Ooh boy, barely avoided finale episode spoilers.
Only read something minor involving the name. Minor yet spoilery spoiler: [sp]River says his name, apparently.[/sp]
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
Also, genius fuckers, there's a torrent named The Name of the Doctor going around which is Love and Monsters...
