Here's the latest "spoiler" from somebody who supposedly has seen the episode:

I like that but I doubt it hugely. Why are all the spoilers so different? Jesus.

That sounds like such bullshit. Not only does it contradict what pretty much every actor has said about their role in the finale/50th special, if it was someone who had actually seen the episode, they wouldn't be saying "this is only what I've heard!".
Based on other leaks and spoilers and whatever, my expectation for the episode is that [sp]Doctors 1-7 are in the pre-titles, the bulk of the episode is just 11 (maybe with some more 1-7 footage when Clara jumps into the time stream), and then Hurt (and possibly 10) appear at the end as the lead-in to the special, with Hurt identifying himself as the real Ninth Doctor. And then we'll get that little web-cast thing with 8 regenerating.[/sp]
[sp]Also, I hope that "Regeneration" box set leaves room for both 8 to 9 regeneration, and 11/12's regeneration if that's to take place at the end of the year.[/sp]

I wondered this too. But recently has The Doctor shown any sexual preference? He loved Rose, River, and Susan's grandmother, sure. But he hasn't really been attracted to anybody but them. He seems pretty open when it comes to issues of gender and preference. Doesn't think twice, he just accept them equally.
I'd rather any romance/crushes/flirtation be left behind for the next Doctor. I'd like a confident Doctor who gets a lot of cool moral speeches, a bit like Jean Luc Picard. One that is less inclined to interfere and observes for a longer while, a bit like Five but with wisdom, age, and confidence. A bit more cerebral that the last few. One that feels more like a wise aged teacher to his companion than a potential love interest. I'd like to see him nurture and improve his companions instead of them doing that to him, him to rely on them less but trust them more. A return to The Doctor values of The Classic Series.

Really though, Colin Baker himself is on record saying he wasn't in the best position to reprise the roll given his aging, he doesn't have Peter Davision's slight quality of youth.

I actually posted something before Dan! This is a monumental breakthrough in my life.
I'm almost 100% sure that the leak was a very well executed publicity stunt by the Beebs. No one can be that good at hiding it.
