(maybe saving it for the world cup final?)
Would be my guess. ETA: Old Eddie_at_Skaro is claiming it will be at half time. They have been running trailers in that slot, I'm told :v: Or there could be something before Casualty tomorrow. Guys, just watch BBC1 24/7 from now until August 23, okay?
Not saying I agree/disagree with him but surely you could have just read the script after watching the episode?
For me, it is more interesting to not have the finished product presented to me before the script. It allows me to make up my own episode in my mind, follow the directions in my way, so that I may see what the director has done, compare, and understand where I went wrong. It's more of an exercise of imagination than a desire to just get the episode already.
If you look on the TARDIS console there's a script on it. It's not there in some of the other shots (http://puu.sh/a7Vza/4223af8007.jpg) Might be late, but I personally only just noticed it. :v:
Moffat arrived at Jenna Coleman's Comic Con panel. All from Twitter
Steven Moffat reveals some "nasty" and "unpleasant" scenes coming up in Doctor Who Series 8. #lfcc

Steven Moffat had the most fun he ever had writing the Doctor Who Series 8 finale

Steven Moffat reveals Matt Smith's final filmed scene on Doctor Who featured him in a harness with his trousers down. Capaldi also has a "great run" as we know :v:
Haven't really been excited for a new series since series five

I may or may not have just seen Deep Breath.
I may or may not have just seen Deep Breath.
Yeah, heard about it popping up online. Not going to watch it. Feels like angering the gods. :v:
Don't be dicks, guys - to yourselves if not anybody else. That's all I have to say on the matter.
Don't be dicks, guys. That's all I have to say on the matter.
I don't think any truly loyal fan would watch it before the episode airs. Maybe after to compare the differences, but definitely not before.
Wouldn't mind a non-spoilery fan trailer made using it. :v:
Wouldn't mind a non-spoilery fan trailer made using it. :v:
You'll need to hire Stuart Humphryes to colourise it. ...and that's all I have to say on the matter... again.
Wait, it's in black and white? That's.. terrible.
Wait, it's in black and white? That's.. terrible.
Lacking CGI and unedited, according to the description... ...apparently EG19 can confirm :v: ...and that's all I have to say on the matter... ....again.
i watched it to see what Capaldi was like. the CGI is bad and it's in black and white, yeah. The sound is also a bit off.
Yeah I'm gonna wait, I want to experience series 8 in all its glory.
I may or may not have just seen Deep Breath.
Oh God, no. I was hoping the last leak for Series 8 would be the scripts.
Oh God, no. I was hoping the last leak for Series 8 would be the scripts.
yeah i'd be careful around the internet if i were you it's a great episode though. capaldi is great.
yeah i'd be careful around the internet if i were you it's a great episode though. capaldi is great.
Cool. I've got the scripts myself, but I refuse to read them until after the episodes air. I've got high hopes for him, though, so I'm really looking forward to it.
The Doctor Who Panel is underway
What con is this? I want to see if someone uploads video of this in the future.
i'd assume the london film and comic con? [editline]12th July 2014[/editline] not 100% sure though
http://www.horrorchannel.co.uk/doctorwho/Tom_baker_interview.php Sorry, Morbius :v: Teasers 2 & 3 both played again tonight. Hopefully a build-up for something tomorrow.
Jenna saw somebody dressed as Peter at the con and chased after him to get a pic to send to PC.
Don't watch the Deep Breath leak guys, I feel so much guilt. There are so many moments that would be cool to experience with the right music/sounds for the first time. Capaldi though... It's Malcolm Tucker in space. There's one particular scene where he wouldn't look out of place in The Thick of It, the same mannerisms etc.
But you told us it would be like binge watching a Netflix show! :v: House of Cards leaves me guilt-free.
So it's Malcolm Tucker without the swearing? I'm down for that.
But you told us it would be like binge watching a Netflix show! :v: House of Cards leaves me guilt-free.
Watching the actual episodes would be, not the black and white placeholder CGI version. [editline]13th July 2014[/editline]
So it's Malcolm Tucker without the swearing? I'm down for that.
Basically yeah. [sp] 12 is rude and doesn't give a fuck. [/sp]
+ some Doctor elements of course? :v:
Looking forward to the War Doctor novel. The 50th was pretty useless in showing any real change in the character over the course of the Time War. Using the TARDIS to destroy those Daleks was the most they could show us :( By comparison, we saw 11 destroy more Daleks in the following episode. By comparison, we saw Rose/Bad Wolf destroy more Daleks eight years prior. Working on ending the war was the most Doctor-ish thing they could have shown us. Even 12 sounds worse :v:

I'm only just reading Paradox Lost and I'm not entirely sure I like it, but I hope he does better with the War Doctor and a new perspective on the Who universe/Whoniverse.
