I highly doubt the actors know when trailers are scheduled to come out. Directors certainly don't.
(obviously still a possibility it's just I doubt he knows anything about it)

The announcer on BBC one just now said we should expect a treat at half time. I think the first half of the match may last slightly longer than 45 minutes if there's stoppage time - don't think the trailer will be shown earlier than 8.45.
