How long is the new episode for those who have watched?
75 minutes.
found it funny that they had stuff from the dark knight soundtrack as placeholder music in the leaked episode
In Deep Breath they used Hans Zimmer's Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock as placeholder :v:

Clara's costume here's already making me feel excited, reminds me fondly of the leather jackets Rose, Donna and Martha all wore at various points.
Also a good shot, as well.

Coincidence?
I THINK NOT
YES, I managed to go into the Future, and I come back with something AMAZING, the 12th Doctor is, PETER CAPALDI.
That pictures reminds me - can't Clara just give The Doctor the same advice from Marcus Aurelias that she gave her class of pupils? :v: Job done.
Been away from keyboard last few days. I was at a festival during the World Cup thing. Thankfully was only there for the day so soon as I got inside I went to Youtube. Now I can finally read and post here again.
It's not the best series trailer. A little too much BZZZZZZZ *cut to black*. Audio seemed spliced from other places on top of other clips to create a bit of dramatic flair. The "Into Darkness" bit with all the lens flare and drama just felt really really melodramatic like the entire cast and crew burst out laughing immediately after the shot cut away.
Also I only briefly read a bit of the script and I can't help but feel this trailer betrays the mood a little bit. There's a lot of good humour in those scripts and the trailer is humourless. The series has darker themes and moments but it's not without fun moments.
I guess they were really keen to make a trailer while showing as little as they possibly could. We actually know no more than we did, even if you read the scripts I imagine there wasn't much new there. They've kept Series 8 shrouded in mystery.

All three are currently due for release on 11 September 2014.
You know, if I was a longtime Doctor Who fan and I got to be the Doctor, I'd be so giddy about seeing people writing books about the character I'm portraying.
I'd be like 'mom, look! It's me! It's me!' and I'd read it to the children of my family.
Deep Breath ending spoiler: [sp]Holy shit that 11th call, what a great scene. "He sounds old, please tell me I didn't get old, anything but old."[/sp]
I highly suggest not watching this now. The version out now isn't worth it in it's current state.

Video Game BAFTAs? :v:
Suddenly, Steven Moffat.
A telltale game for Doctor Who written by Moffat would be so awesome.
(also the stanley parable should have won :v: )
Freeeeeze, would you happen to know anything about somebody here, other than the obvious, appearing in Series 8?

Because it would make me very happy. I don't want to say who it is that is listed as being in at least one episode, since it hasn't been announced... even if it is an actor, not a character.

Whatever the guy on the left's name was should be a companion for a few episodes. :v:

It's not The Thick of It V1 - but I don't care, Malcolm Tucker is in space.
Makes me want to start watching The Thick Of It, probably watching alot of the stuff here out of context but it is still sheer fucking gold.

I presume you're thinking of Chris Addison

The actual interview wasn't playing at the time. As expected, it was sensationalist.
Dan, I hope this isn't verboten here. But if anybody wants to watch the entire episode, it's up on Dailymotion.
(THE HIGNFY EPISODE, NOT THE DOCTOR WHO EPISODE)

I used to really appreciate the ending of The Pandorica Opens - but I don't appreciate that the destruction of a TARDIS would eventually cause the universe to never have existed.
Seems like a really big design flaw.

Robot Chicken finally went there.
[editline]15th July 2014[/editline]
Missed a trick not using a Doctor Who action figure. Then getting the actor in to voice it.

Maybe it's the way in which it was destroyed. Like perhaps every critical component was sabotaged in just the right to affect the time vortex during the destruction or something.
