I just love everything about the show's design and style this year. Hopefully the content is a match.
Didn't spot the XII between the two of them :v:

In the morning I ride... for Cardiff!
Have fun doing that thing I couldn't afford to do!
[shakes with envy uncontrollably]
James Corden (star of Doctor Who) is to replace Craig Ferguson (friend of Doctor Who) on the Late Late Show.
Plus side - James Corden moves far away
Down side - We probably won't see Craig again
Downer side - The Late Late Show is going to suck
Cleared 70 minutes of delays on the M6 and relieved of driving duties.
All for a good cause.
Speaking to Marie Claire magazine ahead of his debut as the latest owner of the Tardis, Capaldi says: “I don't know if people will like me or not; or if the show will be more successful or less successful. But no matter what happens, someone somewhere will love me – I'll be someone's Doctor. Even if everyone else hates me.”
I think everybody will absolutely love him.
"Funnily enough, the other day I was on wires falling through the air – well, skydiving. People kept worrying about me, asking if I was OK. I was loving it, I didn’t want to get down – it was like being nine, because you don’t normally get to play Doctor Who and Superman at the same time. How many other guys get a chance to do that?"
Whats this rumor of Matt smith making a cameo
What about it? (Also, always be safe. Use spoiler tags yo)
Had a walk down The Hayes. St David's appears to be the tourist attraction of the south west at this time of day :v:
Also found the not-quite-so-majestic ticket holder's entrance.
I'm excited to see the new Doctor in action. I saw his acting in Skins, seasons 1-2 and it was great. Although he didn't get much screen time in that, but when he did, he certainly did a swell job.
Look who visited

Jenna has been at DWE and Lizo Mzimba is at the studio, too.
that new console looks siiiick

New? :v: I suppose it has only been around for 11 episodes. Feels much longer after seeing seven Doctors and now three companions in it.
I have loved the return to the... sharp, spaceship design since 2012.
Those bookshelves are absolute amazeballs, though. Look at the designs on top!
oh i thought it was new. huh..
I think godlike is strictly a Ten quality. He had a lot of godlike imagery. I'm thinking specifically of when he was engulfed in a heavenly glow by prayer or when he faced off against The Beast himself.
If The Doctor returned to his godlike status he'd be ignoring the lesson he learnt in The Waters of Mars.

Moffat on more Online Episodes like Night of the Doctor and Pond Life:
We'll do more prequels and stuff. I've been in to talk to the channel controller of iPlayer and say 'We need proper money for it', and they're very keen.
"And we don't call them prequels, we don't call them minisodes, we just call them Doctor Who. That's all they are. As I say, why not do an episode that's ten minutes? Or an episode that's half an hour? It depends what it suits."
He says they originally did them just to get some extra money, then they'd film the online episode without using any of the budget they'd been given and sink it into the actual series. But after Night of the Doctor he realises there's a real audience for online episodes.
With all those gears and clogs in various designs I really hope that The Doctor will take watchmaking as some sort of side hobby :v:
[sp]I'm not kidding, it's actually an awesome hobby.[/sp]

So there's a possibility of mini episodes with Paul Mcgann as the doctor?

Was reading up on series 8 and people have been mentioning [sp]That Matt smith rings the tardis from trenzalore or something[/sp]
[editline]7th August 2014[/editline]
Also a couple of questions
That one K-9 series isn't canon
And it's probably been explained but will somebody list the the regeneration list of doctors/lives.
[editline]7th August 2014[/editline]
Currently watching the movie how the hell did the 7th regenerate if he had died completely.
Also didn't the new series contradict the 7th doctors age as he gave it being 953 and ten said 906
The TARDIS has landed at St David's and a mysterious red carpet has materialized.

Does that mean more McGann? One can dream.
If we can have a McGann series on iPlayer it'll be lovely

Answers:
- [sp]Episode 1 has leaked in script form and full video form. Matt Smith does ring from Trenzalore. Avoid rumours for this series, they're likely more than rumours at this stage[/sp]
- There is no strict official canon. The general rule is whatever you want is canon. Everybody has their own personal canon. New series media is king though. So in general anything related to the new series (official comics, novels, games, spin offs) is more important than anything else. The K9 series has nothing to do with the main series.
The K9 series is actually contradicted by Big Finish Audios (in those that model of K9 was destroyed and never rebuilt). But both K9 and Big Finish are equally unofficial but people tend to favour Big Finish as it was referenced in the new series.
- I guess the 7th Doctor hadn't died completely. Or had started his regeneration process just before he snuffed it.
- There is no official Doctor's age. The Third Doctor said he'd been alive 1000's of years. The theory is The Doctor is too old to remember his real age.
Doctors list:
First Doctor - William Hartnell
Second Doctor - Patrick Troughton - First Regeneration
Third Doctor - Jon Pertwee - Second Regeneration
Fourth Doctor - Tom Baker - Third Regeneration
Fifth Doctor - Peter Davison - Fourth Regeneration
Sixth Doctor - Colin Baker - Fifth Regeneration
Seventh Doctor - Sylvester McCoy - Sixth Regeneration
Eighth Doctor - Paul McGann - Seventh Regeneration
The Warrior - John Hurt - Eighth regeneration
Ninth Doctor - Christopher Eccleston - Ninth Regeneration
Tenth Doctor - David Tennant - Tenth Regeneration, used up Eleventh Regeneration also
Eleventh Doctor - Matt Smith - Twelfth and final Regeneration
Twelfth Doctor - Peter Capaldi - Thirteenth Regeneration, First regeneration of second cycle
(many regenerations later)
The Curator - Tom Baker - Potential final regeneration

As in St Davids Cardiff? If so, I might pop there after work if it is.
New? :v: I suppose it has only been around for 11 episodes. Feels much longer after seeing seven Doctors and now three companions in it.
I believe the controls are new (at least some of them definitely are, if not all of them) so it sort of is a new console.
Someone on reddit got a screenshot of the new titles
The Doctor is back.
That is all I have to say - for now.
Apart from this: I'VE FINALLY SEEN PETER CAPALDI AND HIS EYEBROWS... AND HE'S STILL A GENT.
Are you fucking shitting me?
