Nick Hurran is the man. Hoping that Mackinnon has much stronger material to work with this year, too. Sounds like it - and then some. shit guys, I was looking at some online theories about deep breath and apparently (pure speculation) [sp]Jenny and Vastra are lesbians and married[/sp]. if thats true they really pulled a subtle one on that.

That Paternoster scene [sp]when they came down to save Clara and Capangry on the ropes was honestly laughable.[/sp] Nearly all of their scenes were tbh. #bringbackjack
It may or may not be Peter Capaldi consumer panel survey time.
That reminds me, the "ohhhhhh" bit he does in the alley scene which follows with the line "I'm Scottish" sounds like the 10th Doctor :v: [editline]27th August 2014[/editline] Also, :v: Needs a 10 hour version
Thank you so much. [sp]This is really quick and dirty, sorry[/sp]

I fucking hate Jenny and Vastra, their characters are so crap. Strax can stay, but Jenny and Vastra can fuck off.
Tbh even Vastra would be fine without her relationship with jenny and her ridiculous accent

On Twitter there was actually a backlash to the "The Times, shall I send it up?". Some complained it was sexists ("Ha ha look at the woman get hit in the face") and some said it was stupid ("Ha ha she got hit in the face"). I'm starting to get the distinct impression people on the internet think Doctor Who should never be funny ever and the jokes should never be slapstick. I saw one person say they gave up after the paper joke. Fools. It was the best bit (except maybe everything from the restaurant onwards.. and the tramp)
Cultbox Spoiler-Free Review
Samuel Anderson starts off strong and promises to be an excellent addition to the cast, even if the Doctor (when he meets him) may not see it that way.
Link *** Den of Geek Spoiler-Free Review
We do get more of Peter Capaldi as a slightly more settled Doctor too, and it's surprising just how cold and quite brutal his take on the Time Lord is here. Existing more on logic than emotion, it would be fair to say that if you loved Capadi in Deep Breath, you're not walking away from Into The Dalek shortchanged.
Link *** SFX Spoiler-Free Preview
It’s a dark, claustrophobic, hard-edged story that’s a long way from the lightness and brightness of much of the Matt Smith era.
Link
I like how they bother to show Capaldi halfway through the process of taking his hands out of his pockets. See. Now that's the kind of silly detail that would bother me afterwards if it wasn't there :v:
Which other Doctors? I'd guess 9/10/11/War/4? [editline]27th August 2014[/editline] I assume in that second clip the Doctor has already seen the Dalek once and that's what he's referring to when he says 'hello again' (as opposed to referring to all the other time's he's seen it) because if not that's not a good reaction to seeing a Dalek for the first time in that area.

Not bad I got to say.

good
Very excited for the Minecraft thing. Me and my nephew play a lot and I was just thinking last night how cool it would be!

Those orange windows on the door are quite distinct.
"hello again" fucking take me now Capaldi you're literally the perfect Doctor i do like how he doesn't really care about the daleks again now they're not the evil bastards that survived while the time lords burned, back to the classic-era attitude towards daleks. based capaldi.
i do like how he doesn't really care about the daleks
I don't know about that. That face looks like someone who cares.
I have enjoyed seeing the Daleks re-established permanently in the Whoniverse. It at least makes their yearly appearances more plausible.
That face looks like someone who cares.
Still probably doesn't want one as a patient :v:
I don't know about that. That face looks like someone who cares.
compare his blasé "hello again" attitude to this
Good thing about those mincraft skin packs, they have trials that include the map as well. Only thing buying the skin pack does, is allow you to save maps that use it. Oh, and you only get a couple of the avatar skins.
Isn't that also the laboratory from Sherlock's Hounds of Baskerville? Those orange windows on the door are quite distinct.
They're not just distinct, they let you see the production team waving boom arms around :v:
compare his blasé "hello again" attitude to this
then compare it to this: http://youtu.be/p5iCn0BZEoM?t=2m14s or this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7baRCX375A For most Doctor-Dalek meetings there are serious bits and lights bits. When the Doctor knows he's save he's fine to be playful with them but when he's uncertain of the situation he gets serious. Obviously in 'Dalek' it's different because it's the first time seeing them but honestly apart from that I think that while the ratio of seriousness to playfulness might change a bit the encounter mood overall will be relatively the same. The Daleks have still killed millions of people so by their very nature the Doctor despises them.
The Internet has decided whether it's true or not :v: There are elements of it in one of the Ep2 clips so I'm inclined to believe.
