It was pretty exciting journey's end was kind of boring tbh
oh no the daleks have invaded oh no literally everybody in this planet has a way to solve this problem oh look the daleks are gone ok and the only lasting effect they have was that another Doctor got created good one how powerful are those daleks huh
also noone knew who the silence was in series 5 it was meant to be a dark threatening entity that you wanted to know more about and it worked really well, you know the silence did it and manipulated the scene from above and the finale for series 5 had the promise that the next season would explain this
then season 6 suffered due to budget and blah blah blah and we ended up with a crappy silence organisation but series 5 in itself had a masterpiece two-parter finale
Ok I get it, but ah, I still like Journey's End better. To me "The Big Bang" just felt like waking up from a party. But I hope the 50th is a straightforward story and doesn't have to continue afterwards in the next series, so it can be watched as it's own story.
Cultbox Spoiler Free Review
More than that, it proves exactly why you should be relieved that The Moff is at the helm for Doctor Who's 50th year. It's almost as if he's as interested in our timeline of experience as fans as much as he is in The Doctor's.
Grizz is the perfect example of how you should post spoilers

Curiously a lot of Doctor Who cast members who were appearing on Sunday at Collectormania have dropped out. This includes Dan Starkey, Sylvester McCoy, and William Russle.
Apparently it's due to "Other commitments" for all of them.
Bit of a coincidence all these Doctor Who actors suddenly can't make Sunday? Maybe some secret filming? :P I find it hard to believe that all three suddenly became in high demand on the same day in the last week!
Oh McCoy is apparently doing Hobbit related stuff. Nevermind.
oh my god the Doctor and Clara are so cute together it hurts

[sp]A couple of those REALLY sound like another Doctor is going to get a speaking role. Specifically the "I like the new desktop" one.[/sp]

Fairly complicated, yeah.

[sp]It could be River? If she hasn't seen the new one[/sp]
[sp]It could be River? If she hasn't seen the new one[/sp]
I've heard River isn't [sp]physically there. She's telepathically communicating with Clara from inside the Library. At one point they come across her grave and The Doctor explains to Clara who River was and how she 'died'.[/sp]
Of course if this is true it means the spoiler that [sp]River deletes herself from his timeline is untrue as she isn't there to do it.[/sp]
It's amazing how many different versions of the story are out there. Some great leak this turned out to be. Everything supposedly leaked- we knew already.
I'm starting to think this was a clever way for the BBC to convince people to avoid the spoilers that were already out.

Haha, even more glad now - that I haven't fawned over every leak. I'm very happy & excited to know what the pre-titles sequence involves (even moreso since the BBC have pretty much shown it through trailers and promo pics already). Anticipating how this ties in to Clara's mystery & how it is resolved. Really looking forward to seeing how they handle the subject at hand - the 'Name of The Doctor' - moreso through the teasing of Cultbox & Den of Geek. Also want to know how River is used.
There are some very obvious possibilities for how the episode ends, but I'm excited for that, too. This is fun.
I've not been this excited for an episode of Doctor Who in such a long time
If I revoke my man card am I allowed to audibly squeal about the Doctor and Clara?

To be honest I thought that either Warwick's acting was awful, whoever wrote his character was awful or whoever directed him was awful. I'm not sure which is true there but in every scene he seemed to fall flat
He was the only highlight for me. Until the end when he suddenly hit on Clara.
Warwick davis was good i reckon
made a good emperor
Loosely connected to the subject, and nothing more than shameless whoring, but if six of you would be interested in helping me round off 300 - I may be forced to do something creative.
Much appreciated, of course! Less than two days to go!
Warwick davis was good i reckon

Yeah, but making him emperor of the universe kind of ruined the ep for me
I think Eleven is my favorite Doctor. Nine will always have a special place in my heart because he was my first Doctor, and Ten had his moments, but I like the writing, the companions and his "style" more.
Eccleston was amazing. Definitely my favorite of Nu-Who. My favorite of all is either McCoy or Davison.
My favorites are
Smith / Tennant > Pertwee > Eccleston
I haven't really seen enough of the original series to decide on a classic doctor but idk I like him a lot
I thought 10 was my fav, but after watching 9 again I gotta say he is my fav. 10 and 11 I can't decide for 2nd.
From what survives of the original series I'd say Hartnell was great. Tom Baker is still my favourite Doctor but 10 and 11 have put in incredible acting performances and I love them too
Daily Mail is out with another Who scare piece.
"Fans demand Moffat quits. Show needs 10 million viewers or should be axed."
That kind of thing.

I'm just throwing this out there now: when Clara inevitably has to leave, I'm not going to be okay in the slightest.
Just realized that [sp]the doctor's tomb is probably the TARDIS. Intensely poetic.[/sp]
