Late to the party here but yeah that episode is one of my favourites and definitely one of the best Dalek stories. Capaldi was excellent and I even like Danny Pink so far.
Only just occurred to me about that scene with the woman soldier wanting to join the Doctor, but him denying her because she was a soldier.. Danny Pink was a soldier too and I assume he'll be going along with Clara in there, so will be interesting to see how the Doctor reacts with that.

Yeah that was the whole point of the scene where Clara looks worried and says (paraphrasing) "No problem with soldiers... at least not me".
The story is that Danny and The Doctor don't meet for ages as she keeps them apart. When they do Capaldi said The Doctor is protective because of Danny's past.

So, re-watching older Doctor Who. Just finished The Waters of Mars. God DAMN was that a good episode. I mean I loved it the first time I saw it, but rewatching it.

People say there's nobody good enough to take over from Moffat one day. But Phil Ford would be great. Maybe with somebody else. But he could be alright alone.
it's not that it's against the general rule or anything, it'd just be nice for the people that don't read the synopses for like six stories ahead (eg most people) as it plays a relatively decent part of the story in some episodes between that

I think everyone's missing a HUGE possibility for the identity of Missy, and it seems a bit obvious to me.
It's been theorized before that "Heaven" is a TARDIS. I think that's more than likely.

I'd honestly be shocked if that didn't turn out to be the case.

I'm watching over "The End of Time" right now, and to be frankly honest, I don't see why he'd come back. I mean for heavens sake. We've seen enough of him, why does it always have to be him?

Oh I've seen them all, starting from the 7th Doctor to the now current.
Every time I re-watch it, it still gets me. I know it's coming, but it still bites my ass.
So it was spelled Mego, and not Mi-Go? Well that's something I never knew, I only ever heard it spoken.
I still miss the mass-use Paradigm Daleks. The Time War ones are looking cool here with their current lighting and color scheme (more dark copper than what it seems like it used to be, gives it a nice dark red-ish look), but they still look so dull compared to the ones they built a whole damn revision for that got trashed due to a hump and easily-fixable color scheme. Still, I look forward to seeing how they'll act in this episode. Looks like a good story.
(Yes, I cracked down and read the spoilers here, I won't have reliabe access to BBCA viewings for a while and I don't want to be completely in the dark from you guys.
