I can't decide between s3 and s4 for my favourite Tennant series.. s3 has the best last few episodes, but s4 is pretty strong throughout. hm. What do you think? [editline]2nd September 2014[/editline]
thanks. do you also got one with more body? lower part highlighted e.g. [sp]sorry again[/sp]
is this u
I prefer S4. Donna is one of the best companions and the stories were pretty consistent (especially that Sontaran two parter heh) That fake regeneration was one of the best cliff hangers ever, up there with 'AND INTRODUCING JOHN HURT AS THE DOCTOR'. Also it has Capaldi in it, what more could you want?
So happy they have kept the second half of the series off-screens for now. New writers, Moffat's "uncluttered new approach" - kept away from the trailers, unlike S5-7
Aw yiss, Ben Miller as the Sheriff of Sherwood!
I read that as Ben Stiller
I read that as Ben Stiller
that would be something to see
Is Peter the first Oscar winning doctor?

Is Peter growing his hair out?
Is Peter growing his hair out?
It looks like he is a little bit, though it may just be a result of them having filmed the series in episode order (or perhaps that's why they did?) [editline]2nd September 2014[/editline]
With all of Nottingham at stake,
such peril! Still, makes a nice change from the "entire fate of the universe hinges on this one single moment" palava we usually got during Matt's run
he looks crazier with longer hair, with short hair all I see is Tucker.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting bored of all these humanoid looking aliens we keep having. When was the last time we had an original, good looking alien. I want something like the judoon back or the hath.
Pretty sure the Judoon and Hath are humanoid yeah their faces are a bit fucked up but they still have two arms, two legs and stand up straight [editline]2nd September 2014[/editline] Anyway, we had non-humanoid aliens just last week - the Daleks. :v:

I liked the judoon because they're badass looking.

It would be cool to have a Sontaran episode featuring the Rutans at some point. Y'know... since they're pretty much the whole reason the Sontarans live for nothing but war.

But for Capaldi, his look just says: "For fuck's sake, not again!"
Calling it now, [sp]Robin Hood's one of the robots[/sp]
Calling it now, [sp]Robin Hood's one of the robots[/sp]
Think it's a pretty solid bet that [sp]Robin of Sherwood[/sp] is the [sp]Robot of Sherwood[/sp]
After living in Nottingham all my life I have grown to hate almost all Robin Hood based stories.
Also, every time I look at the robot knights I'm reminded of these guys:
Calling it now, [sp]Robin Hood's one of the robots[/sp]
well duh, [sp]I'd be a hundred times more surprised if he wasn't[/sp]
Missed Doctor Who: Earth Conquest - watching now :) Good to see some of the impressive fan productions featured - and Peter talking about it. Such as the Rain trailer: "It's an absolutely beautiful piece of work.." EDIT: Now he's preparing for the dramatic Sydney entrance. "Maybe they applaud of they don't." Moffat preparing to go on stage in Mexico and the mocking of Jenna's prepared answers are brilliant. "We've been throwing telephones out of windows... no.. that's not right, it's televisions you throw out of windows..."
After living in Nottingham all my life I have grown to hate almost all Robin Hood based stories.
Read a novel called Outlaw. It presents the Robin Hood story in a Godfather type fashion. Robin is a feared crime lord who is hot headed, dangerous and idealistic. A real anti-hero. A ruthless criminal who hates the church and the current powers at be. It's incredibly historically accurate and so far a story that hasn't been told about him before. Well worth a plunge. [editline]2nd September 2014[/editline]
Calling it now, [sp]Robin Hood's one of the robots[/sp]
Then I imagine [sp]when he finds out he gets briefly disheartened while The Doctor gloats about being right about Robin not existing. Then when The Doctor realises he needs him he'll explain to Robin how his legacy lives on and probably show him some video footage of all the Robin Hood adaptations, statues and sentimental shit.[/sp] I've not read the script. But I just can feel it.
