Seeing Matt and David playing off eachother in the readthrough :v: Intercut with a lot of footage and talking heads, though. Not enough of the actual sitting - but that's not really the point of the feature 'From Script to Screen.' Suppose it's a bit disappointing that it wasn't properly labelled.

I liked it! Some of the stuff in it was a bit far fetched (generic silverware deflecting space lasers? cmon) but other than that it was nice. Good ending too.

lasers of any caliber are capable of being reflected. that's just a byproduct of being made of light.
I think that was the worst episode in a long time. I know it's still early on in the series and a single episode doesn't really indicate how the rest will be, but so much for things being darker and more serious. It also kind of ruined my expectations for Capaldi, the way he was in that episode just seemed so immature and wasn't at all like i think the Doctor should be.
That episode was brilliant, actually my favourite of the season so far
