[sp]"Whisper Men"? I was hoping for the Silence to return and do that stuff and not have them be a one series only monster, I loved the Silence. Unless "Whisper Men" is some other character's naming for them[/sp]
[sp]If by silence you mean the Silent aliens, then they were pretty much wiped out as a result of the events of Day of the Moon.
Also I think the whisper men are those faceless guys with sharp teeth and top hats we saw in the S7P2 trailer[/sp]

I've seen pictures of them on 4chan, from a promo for the episode
They're not who you think they are, and they look scary as fuck.
Tonight's episode is Pick of the Day for The Times.
Heroically directed, praise to the epic effects team, guided by an intelligent, dangerous, exciting and funny script.

James Nesbitt would be a cool choice

Apparently [sp] The Whispermen [/sp] are the monsters that have finally scared Moffat when he created them.
Also apparently Clara has [sp]met The Doctor more than the three times [/sp]
And are River and Clara linked as they've both been called
"Impossible"?

I cannot take the idea for this guy to be the doctor after seeing peep show
I might end up trying to catch an online streaming or something of tonight's episode. I've just been catching them on BBC America at 8 PM, but my sister's likely going to occupy the living room with her slumber party tonight, so I might have to rethink that.
Though I could just catch BBCA on the TV in my sister's room, I doubt her party will be too busy in there.

Chiwetel Ejiofor would be amusing.

(put this in the OP coolcorky)
I would love to see David Morrissey as the Doctor, he's not the first doctor to have been in the show earlier.
I would equally love to see Stephen Fry, although he's propably a bit old for all the modern running-abouts.
RTD & JLC's birthdays today : )

Also, would you guys be interested if I were to stream some classic serials?

Well he already sort of kind of played the Doctor.
Sort of. Not really, but in a way kind of.
It'd be weird.

David Morrisey played a mad bloke with a screwdriver
Colin Baker actually played a time lord.
???

WELL YEAH, people would complain. Colin had a pretty "minor" role as Maxil. I mean it wasn't like the episode was dedicated to him, like Morrisey's was.
Sure, he shot the fifth Doctor and everything but it was still a small role.
... y'know?
Oh man, a Comic Relief Doctor Who "special" that had like, six or seven other celebrities / actors playing The Doctor would be great. Like, as a sort of 7-8 minute montage-type thing, with each person in a different Doctor Who situation as if it's halfway through a proper episode, wearing original costumes that still look like something the Doctor would wear, but acting in a sort of fashion that's sort of typical of the person at the time, but still very much the Doctor. Like, Jeremy Clarkson acting all arrogant and / or talking someone through the inner workings of the TARDIS as if it's an episode of Top Gear or something.
Aw man, that would be so cool. Guaranteed they'll never do something as cool as that though.
The Curse of Fatal Death came close.
The Curse of Fatal Death came close.
Yeah, but I didn't really find it that funny and lost interest like half way through

We could do a "let's watch Classic Who in preparation for the 50th" series of streams.
And after each stream, we go to a chat and discuss or something like that.
I like that idea.
[editline]-[/editline]
In hindsight, I'm not sure why I made this post when I could've just agree'd.
I feel dirty now.

Would it be one episode per regerenation and then repeat once it gets to the 11th Doctor or something?
-snip-
We could watch all the episodes/serials that would be in that Regeneration box set (Tenth Planet, War Games, Planet of the Spiders, Logopolis, Caves of Androzani, Time and the Rani, The Movie, Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways, The End of Time)
im gonna go to the shoppe to get snacks and stuff for the episode and then I'll start the stream
suggestions for what to play before the episode begins?
Any streams?
