The Actual Boy Doctor to compare. Get back to the ship, child!
Just watched episode 2. [t]https://scontent-a-lax.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xaf1/t31.0-8/10704395_10152438020492017_4792215911118785217_o.jpg[/t] [sp]"I am not a good Dalek! You are a good Dalek!"[/sp] Holy shit!
Is the sting in or out, this series? It went away, came back in episode 3 (2005-style), then went away again.. :v: Still looks weird to fade in to the title sequence, but it was designed to do that.
My favourite Doctor is The Doctor.
My favourite Doctor is The Doctor.
Heresy! the best doctor is rowan atkinson don't listen to Dan's inevitable post that the best doctor is dr pepper
The best Doctor is Dr Pe- oh
Den of Geek Review
However, Thompson's on far firmer footing with his latest adventure, as Doctor Who continues its finest run of form since series 5 with Time Heist. As the title suggests, it involves a heist, and a bit of time work.
Link *** Cultbox Review
Overseeing events with a lipstick smirk is Line of Duty‘s Keeley Hawes as the Chief of Security, Ms Delphox. An actress of considerable talent, Hawes deserved something more substantial than Delphox. Freeze, who actually played the young Doctor? Was it somebody Freeze Sr knew and drafted in for a requested cameo or was it an actual actor? It was you wasn't it. And you were the thing under the sheet. I knew it.
Listen Ratings Update Live + VOSDAL: 4.808m + Day 1: 6.125m + Day 2: 6.526m + Day 3: 6.657m Rather great how DW's ratings are so strong in it's ninth year back.
I had never seen Capaldi in anything before this show, but he is making a strong case for being second best doctor behind glorious mr fantastic.

Weren't the live ratings actually slightly lower than 4 million too? That's amazing how many people watched it overnight.
Robot of Sherwood had the sub-4m figure.
Oh right! Well still mighty impressive ratings increase across the week.

Whoever that kid is he's played The Doctor. And nobody will believe him.

Been enjoying your Doctor Who at 19:30 because it was nice and later compared to past series? The Caretaker airs at 20:30.
Been enjoying your Doctor Who at 19:30 because it was nice and later compared to past series? The Caretaker airs at 20:30.
probably gonna miss Time Heist and The Caretaker on first viewing because of uni related things, annoying as fuck
forgot that episode existed what the fuck was Moffat playing at? A Christmas Carol was probably the best Christmas special too, to go from that to that piece of shit...
Been enjoying your Doctor Who at 19:30 because it was nice and later compared to past series? The Caretaker airs at 20:30.
...and it could be the episode which charts the beginning of a golden age of modern Who ratings. We will certainly see.

Kill the Moon? Didn't Piccolo already do that?
The Doctor confirmed for hating Saiyans
Episodes 5-8 were previewed in DWM. Highlights from 7 & 8: Kill The Moon
The Moon has changed – and now it’s threatening to wipe out all life on Earth. But when the Doctor uncovers its secrets, he realises the situation is graver than anyone thought. Can he stand by and let humanity destroy the Moon?

[sp]An early script title was “Return to Sarn” but it was all a big Moffat trick. The final title isn’t a play on a Romeo & Juliet line, just something attention grabbing. Courtney comes on this adventure because she begs the Doctor for a trip in the TARDIS. Human astronauts led by Hermione Norris are trying to nuke the moon. The moon has become heavier and is washing away Earth under huge tidal waves. Moffat briefed writer Peter Harness to “Hinchcliffe the s*** out of it for the first half” in terms of scares. Originally written for Smith’s Doctor, but Capaldi works better because of his more alien Doctor. There’s a life changing dilemma that Clara has to face. More on that here.[/sp]

Harness says: “I still don’t know how people will take it. I’m in this kind of limbo now waiting for people to see it, and I’ve no idea, really I do not know how it is going to go down. “I’ve never seen the Doctor do something like this before…”
Mummy on the Orient Express
The famous Orient Express, thundering along on its journey across space, came to a sudden stop. The hyperspace ribbons under its wheels faded and it began to float, engines dead. Everything was deathly quiet. “And the facade drops away,” murmured the Doctor, delighted. Upon which, he found himself very much wanted. For on the Orient Express murder had been committed. And the murderer was still on board! The Doctor investigates. He raises his mighty eyebrows and thinks – with his little grey cells…

[sp]This Orient Express is a futuristic space train. Frank Skinner is playing Perkins, the train’s chief engineer. The title suggests a silly romp, but it is not that at all. It’s actually very dark with a lot of deaths It’s claustrophobic horror. The Mummy was deemed too scary by the BBC and will require a later time slot. The Mummy kills its victims by walking towards them and they only have 66 seconds to live.[/sp]
Golden Age has only just begun. I think Courtney will turn out to be brilliant y'know. [editline]17th September 2014[/editline] Any episode where the writer has been told to "Hinchcliffe the shit out of it" is bound to be the greatest episode of modern Who history if it's going to come even close to the great man himself.

RELEVANT TO MUMMY ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS
But I think we're supposed to dislike her at this point. I would chalk it down to the character being a misbehaving big mouth. Every school had them. I think she's supposed to be unlikeable for now. She's well performed. Reminds me of a girl I went to school with down the inflictions in the speech. I think she'l continue to be a pain during The Caretaker and then by the end of Kill The Moon she'll be quite likeable.
So I'm looking for the piece of soundtrack playing at 2:50 untill the end of the video.
