Jack was awesome. Have to say I enjoyed his character more when he was with the 9th Doctor, not so much the 10th.
Flatline Synopsis:
Separated from the Doctor, Clara discovers a new menace from another dimension. But how do you hide when even the walls are no protection? With people to save and the Doctor trapped, Clara comes up against an enemy that exists beyond human perception.
[sp]it's not a doctor-lite episode[/sp]
Good. I would be annoyed if it were.
For Flatline I predict [sp]Clara leaves. But The Doctor 'coincidentally' ends up involved with her life again. She's annoyed. He insists it's not intentional and continues to be fierce and cold and Scottish. Then by the end there's a heart warming moment where he reveals he simply misses her and couldn't stay away[/sp]
Another reviewer on GB implies the president thing is just a line of dialogue and it's not necessarily 2049.
Probably Nixon then? He was a president in a Moon-related episode.
Most guest writers create the best stories. Mainly because they're so fresh and different. I would rather Series 9 not have Gatiss and the same old faces. I would much prefer a series of fresh writers. Keeping the show unpredictable. [editline]2nd October 2014[/editline] Bells of St John director says Moffat had no idea what Clara was at time of filming: http://www.denofgeek.com/tv/colm-mccarthy/32304/colm-mccarthy-interview-peaky-blinders-sherlock-dr-who I did get the impression 5-7 had a 'make it up as we go along' vibe which I didn't like. This series it feels like there's a coherant plan

That creeps me the heck out, fuck.
Someone needs to draw Doctor in the style of LoZ: A Link Between Worlds for the Flatline episode.
Clara has been removed from the Mummy on the Orient Express synopsis and cast list. :v:
The Doctor and Clara are on the most beautiful train in history, speeding among the stars of the future - but they are unaware that a deadly creature is stalking the passengers. Once you see the horrifying Mummy you only have 66 seconds to live. No exceptions, no reprieve. As the Doctor races against the clock Clara sees him at his deadliest and most ruthless. Will he work out how to defeat the Mummy? Start the clock!

The Doctor is on the most beautiful train in history, speeding among the stars of the future. Are they trying to cover up the fact she returns next week or did they make a mistake the first time? Companion light?
I saw a trailer for those Minecraft Xbox 360 skins on the Doctor Who Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=970643936282967 57 characters. That's quite a lot for one of those skin packs.
Yeah they usually give a lot less for more money. I'm totally gonna get it.
went to a poster sale today. saw this. added it to my collection of sad shit to do with Doctor Who i own. now i have something to masturbate to when the internet's down. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19882151/Photo%2003-10-2014%2013%2031%2044.jpg[/t]
Well now I need to pay a visit to the BBC Shop.
If they tied that adventure in to 12's DoTD appearance...
speaking of that, how are they going to address the slight tardis re-decoration that 12 got [editline]3rd October 2014[/editline] though i guess it's a minor enough thing to just retcon it

He did at least once. ------------------------------------------- Currently in Nottinghamshire. Most famous for having The Doctor visit it once. On the way to Rossendale which is close to Clara country. Maybe I'll feel closer to Clara as I watch tomorrow.

Was the one with the spider silhouette fanmade then? Booo [editline]03/10/2014[/editline] I'm not a fan of Minecraft, but this is pretty cool
Wait, what was that one posted the other day?
Fan-made by the looks of it http://foreverclassic.deviantart.com/art/Doctor-Who-Kill-the-Moon-485844877
Rewatched Human Nature/Family of Blood last night. Harry Lloyd is awesome in it, SHUTUPSTOPTALKINGCEASEANDDESISTTHERESAGOODGIRL. I think the only thing I dislike in the story is the scarecrows.
Fan-made by the looks of it http://foreverclassic.deviantart.com/art/Doctor-Who-Kill-the-Moon-485844877
always a shame when something fan made is better than the actual thing
I wouldn't say it's better - Manning and Kenney just went for different styles. Just like Mr. Hanshaw. Both of them are great. Shame they don't get used by the BBC. They're very nice. Worth a peruse: https://www.flickr.com/photos/stuart-m/with/5794130929/
To be fair, the Radio Times ones are technically fan-made. They're not done by the BBC.
Both offer a different style, so they should be appreciated in different ways. I wanted to write something smart in spoiler tags but I feel verynicelady lurking with the ban button ready.
the actual radio times one would be 6000% better if it changed it's font

Never thought I'd see a clip of the first, ninth, eleventh and twelfth doctors murdering a dragon with bows and arrows.
Now you know why Eccleston bailed.
