Thanks for reminding me to finish The Twelfth Doctor Hates Danny 2
np sweet cheeks if the doctor isn't super grimdark tonight im dropping the show forever
Dain's probably gonna stream tonight if anyone wants it? http://www.livestream.com/dain_who
I'm gonna say this one last time before Kill the Moon actually airs: if the 'darkness' and 'unpredictability' from the Doctor every review is talking about is basically just him being okay with sacrificing one or two people to save the entire earth I will be a bit disappointed.
I knew it, the mexicans were behind the entire thing.
New episode when?
now
New episode when?
Right now :o
Right now :o
wha WHAT GIMME LINK
wha WHAT GIMME LINK
It's pretty much over now, you missed it. It's not finished yet, but it's been an extremely over-hyped episode, pretty underwhelming to be honest. The episode was 40 minutes of stuff, 5 minutes of something actually interesting, there was nothing really dark about the episode, could pretty much see the result from far away.
seemed like a good episode, but had really weird factors like, the spiders seemed completely irrelevant and were written off as bacteria? kind of confused me to be honest. if someone could explain that to me i would appreciate it. i also feel as if what clara did at the end was rather unreasonable, i would understand getting pissed at him by straight up leaving but like he said, this was humanities choice in the end and she seemed to be getting pissed at the wrong thing entirely. i'd say 6.5 or 7/10, not as dark as it was said to be, listen still taking top spot.
meh
That was rather naff.
haha fuck you clara 12 was right GOLDEN AGE BASED CAPALDI
The weakest episode of this series for me, and can we please never have another child character on the show ever again?
Capaldi was fucking great again, episode was alright.
meh edit
meh
dangit
I feel bad that the first thing I thought when I saw [sp]The moon hatching was, "If somehow Doctor Who is still being made in 2049 this is going to cause major continuity issues if they catch it in shot." Thank fuck that new moon appeared[/sp]
yeah that was overhyped to fuck, the Doctor wasn't even that dark in the end, I don't get why Clara threw such a hissy fit because he was right, it wasn't his choice to make.
So, where is this "10/10, one of the strongest episodes in s8" Kill the Moon? Was it somehow hidden in the eggshell of okay-ish 7/10 episode?
That was a pretty bad episode. The episode was ruined by annoying characters (even Clara at times), pointless and irrelevant monsters, a fairly boring and stupid plot that felt like it tried to be dark but failed and the usual "Everybody Lives!" happy ending.
To clarify, I liked 12 and Clara in the episode, and Courtney was okay, but the story and everything was just pretty average compared to what I was expecting
definitely wasn't a 10/10 episode, no idea what the critics were thinking i'd give it a 7 or 8 out of ten at best. it was NOT 'the darkest episode doctor who has has in ages'. nobody important even died.
at-least the moon wasn't a giant weeping angel.
at-least the moon wasn't a giant weeping angel.
if at the end the moon broke apart and it was a giant statue in space that'd be so ridiculous it'd arguably be better than what actually happened
I thought the episode was pretty cool, but one tiny thing bothered me- why were the instruments in the base still labelled in Spanish? Doctor Who is literally the only program where you can just use English for everything and still be correct.
if at the end the moon broke apart and it was a giant statue in space that'd be so ridiculous it'd arguably be better than what actually happened
a massive angel face popping through the side of the moon flinging itself towards earth
It was my favourite of the series. I get the hype. Search Doctor Who on Twitter. It's reviled by the target audience. As is this series with many calling it the worst ever. I know lots of children that lost interest too. This is the golden age. I wish I could slap that into these people
