Why do I get the vision that this would be like Mrs Doubtfire in the tardis. "Ohhh Deary me Clara"
I thought it was Thatcher tbh
This year's christmas special looks fantastic. So the rumors were true Jenna was leaving the show. Can't wait to see more of the new companion.
How is it confirmed Jenna is leaving?
How is it confirmed Jenna is leaving?
(he's making a joke on that the video is actually the doctor who christmas special)

http://neil-gaiman.tumblr.com/post/99410074296/if-you-could-hug-any-doctor-who-writer-which-one-would Neil Gaiman apparently slammed DW for lack of female doctor who writers.
Because Moffat obviously chooses writer based on gender and not skill makes total sense
So you honestly think that since 2008 there have been no female writers that are better than the male writers we got? That's a crazy way of thinking. I agree that diversity for the sake of diversity isn't great but there's no way there isn't at least one female writer that had more skill than our current writers. That said it's not really specifically Moffat's fault or a problem that is only an issue of Doctor Who - it's the industry as a whole failing. It's not like it's just him that hand picks the writers, the BBC higher ups have a say too. There are a lot of factors that play into this and it'll be a collective effort that fixes it.
I can't tell if you're taking my post seriously when it was very clear sarcasm, or if you're also responding to the person in the link
Whether or not your post was sarcasm doesn't invalidate the point Freeze made.
I can't tell if you're taking my post seriously when it was very clear sarcasm, or if you're also responding to the person in the link
Your post (when accounting for sarcasm, which I did) implies that Moffat chooses writers for skill rather than gender, which is obviously the right thing to do, but going along with that implies that no female writers have been skilled enough for the job - or at least more skilled than the people who actually got it. My post argues against that line of thought saying just because he chooses skill over gender surely there are at least SOME female writers that are more skilled than our male ones.
Help, I'm stuck on SF Debris's Doctor Who reviews! Damn internet entertainers... Providing free, enjoyable content on popular culture esoterica.

So they said Twelve wouldn't have a catchphrase, but from the way the series is going it seems he does. It's a match-up between "rollercoaster", "fault" and "thing". Perhaps even the "Oooooh" sound he makes.

always kinda thought it was how he always goes "QUESTION" before asking a question
i dont like the little clock in the corner, that's gimmicky as fuck
Got to admit I'm looking forward to this next episode, but I am prepared to be let down by it too..
I think it will be another solid 7 or 8 out of 10 and because that's what I (and hopefully others) are expecting it will be better for that.
I never expect anything
I never expect anything
But do you expect to be surpised since everything is unexpected to you?
Every time I hear someone on the show say something like "I need a doctor" I keep expecting McGann to show up and say "I'm a doctor. But probably not the one you're expecting."
Some people are saying the Doctor is a bit too grumpy these days and that a little more comic relief would be nice.
Honestly, I thought the Doctor being grumpy was the comic relief.
Honestly, I thought the Doctor being grumpy was the comic relief.
It is. They're looking for reasons to complain because he's not 20
[t]http://www.radiotimes.com/uploads/images/original/58858.jpg[/t]
And the BBC marketing get a slap over the head for not telling RT "Wait, no, guys, we're trying to make it seem like Clara's really leaving, take her name off the posters!" as if it would help.
Having a grumpy doctor is good, especially on his regeneration reset. It really wouldn't shock me if the next doctor was a much livelier tennant-esque style of doctor.
