I'd like it if it turns out that Missy is the Rani and Seb is the Master and they're just fucking with the Doctor
That is something they would do, at least The Master.
If that becomes the case, they would have just wanted Malcolm and Ollie. Straight up. That said, I will be sad if The Doctor and Seb don't meet :v:
Can anyone answer? Does The Master still hear the drums, or is that deal over with now?
There's a mission in Borderlands the pre-sequel, where you build a CL4P-L3K. [t]http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/38605639474486503/10C559DA634097E55354F774680912644DCFF83F/[/t] He speaks: I DISLIKE THINGS also: EVERYTHING SUCKS! EVERYTHING MUST BE ERADICATED! :v:
oh lord http://usvsth3m.com/post/16-confusing-feelings-that-doctor-who-fans-have-had-about-the-latest-plot-twist
I'm almost 100% certain Charles Dance was The Master at one point. Michelle Gomez says she went for a different role earlier in the series but had to drop out due to scheduling conflict. I'm gonna guess it's Ms Delphox. A few weeks after she dropped out of that role she was asked about Missy. Trackboy has been saying for MONTHS, since Spring, that Charles Dance as The Master was the big bad. Casting which changed DURING production. I trust him. I think Charles Dance was The Master. He's got a proven track record of being right. Just before the series started he tweeted "Mistress Master" which nobody caught on to. Before episode titles were announced he was tweeting about taking a "Deep Breath" and in March tweeted about "Time for a Heist". He's tweeted about mini TARDIS' and being inside a Dalek. He even tweeted that we'll have to "Listen" with the hashtag "#Theyrerealyouknow". So if Trackboy is right here as he has been about everything else. Dance Master was a thing. [editline]4th November 2014[/editline] It would explain Dance being with Moffat's family at that science lecture.
Or could still be a thing, eventually
Don't look away during the [sp]title sequence[/sp]

I loved Matt's Doctor. But what emotion is that supposed to be? It looks like he's registering shock at a surprise prostate exam while opening his mouth for the dentist. Also put that paintball gun down and get out of that sinking ship of a movie. [editline]4th November 2014[/editline] Interesting point on GB has been raised. How do we know this is even the first time The Master has been a woman? We've only seen a handful of his regenerations! [editline]4th November 2014[/editline] The worst part about killing off The Brigadier? He's now a Cyberman... :(
As are Victorian Clara, Harriet Jones, Amy and Rory, (assuming they stay in Victorian London for the rest of their lives) Vastra, Jenny and Strax, Ian and Barbara (unless they're still alive)...
Humankind.... bring out your dead!
Moffat told Russell T Davies that River was never coming back. His reply: "No! Capaldi and Kingston, it'll be a sex storm!"
Personally I think Seb is really the master and missy is actually the rani, but she's playing mind games with the doctor. I have no idea, but I'd be fine with this :v:
I look forward to Seb being revealed as Seb. ]
Seb will certainly be someone shocking. But who on earth was Skarosa? I was certain Seb would be him until these reviews started hinting at something grander.
To me, this is Seb going "whoops! I guess I was the Master all along!"
First episode of Series 9 is set off-Earth.
Some stuff from the Q&A that happened after tonight's screening:
-Moffat believes Doctor Who's relative "heart on sleevey" emotion gives it a mainstream appeal otherwise lacking from some sci fi shows -Will Cohen (CGI) compared working on the show to never having to grow up -Moffat wonders what the handles on the Cyber helmets are for as they don't seem to serve a purpose but agrees it would be heresy to get rid of them -Michelle Gomez is MADDER than the Master in real life, apparently, as she's an old friend of Moffat and they've got drunk together -Moffat thinks Cybermen work best in a story where they have a humanoid interface of some kind, or an ally, to make them more interesting (here, Missy) -The episode was only finished last Friday night! -The favourite planets they've realised on screen while working on the show are the Library, Asylum and Gallifrey -RTD recently asked Moffat if there would be more River Song. Moffat replied no and RTD's reaction was crestfallen horror as "Kingston and Capaldi - think about it, it would be a sex storm" Moffat jokes there will be an episode next year called Sex Storm and written by RTD -Doesn't sound like there'll be anything for March 2015 as it would be odd to celebrate 50 years so publicly and then say, it's also 10 years old... But he admitted he could be lying -First episode of next series is set on another planet
A collection of hints, reviews and teasing spoilers from GB users who went to the screening:
[sp]-There's not a new title sequence exactly, but there is a significant tweak significantly for this episode. Seemingly for a joke/shock factor. I wasn't a fan of it actually. -There is a flashback to a Series 7 episode. -Lovely Brigadier references. Two of them. One is a visual reference. -The plane sequence is very, very strong. Capaldi is incredible. It's creepy and hilarious. - Samuel Anderson gives a great performance. -There are several real, permanent deaths. -Michelle Gomez is wonderful and unhinged. -Capaldi gets his "riding up the Shard" moment equivalent of ridiculous heroism -There's a reasonable proliferation of flashbacks -We learn a new detail about Gallifrey[/sp]
So I'm guessing the same thing happens for pretty much everybody, right? Seb talks to them, scares them into thinking they should never ever have their bodies destroyed (unless he actually is innocent and is just mixed up in this and doing the best he can, who knows?), he gives them bad memories and flashbacks so they want to 'delete' themselves, and boom- prepped Cyberman?
Seb's "oh this NEVER happens" was so obviously a lie.

"Dig me a well, Mr Pink. I love it when you dig us a well. Oooooooooh. Wells." Is potentially the best bit of Doctor Who mock-fiction I've ever written. Rivaled only by my iconic work where a flatulent and scat obsessed Doctor recoils with horror when he witnesses Amy pooping out of the TARDIS doors. What thread was that in? I miss it.
Lots of [sp]flashbacks[/sp] ehy? Fingers crossed for a Master [sp]regeneration[/sp] scene!
Maybe there's a chance for Charles Dance to appear.
So celebrity TV chef Alton Brown's favorite Doctor is Peter Capaldi. I'm sure that means something, but I can't quite figure out what.
There's pretty much three options for that that would be most appropriate at this point: 1. They address it in 'Death in Heaven'. 2. They address it in Capaldi's final episode, whenever that is. 3. (most likely) They never address it.
It was in the previous version of the current console room. I suspect he attended to it during the part in Deep Breath where he goes off, changes the console and gets his costume.
