Despite the observable lack of circular light strips on the walkway in the background, the console is clearly emitting orange lighting in the scene which is enough to convince me it's supposed to be the current interior, even though the set wouldn't have been renovated at that point.

It's not unusual. Jacobi to Simm was the only on screen regeneration of The Master we ever saw. Unless you count when Skeletor Master stole Ainley's body.

I am utterly convinced Seb is the Master/The Meddling Monk. Everyone is saying the reveal of his character is really shocking and I think it's something that Moffat would do. It doesn't even mean that Missy isn't the Master either.

I really thought Seb was part of the nethersphere computer program as his sole purpose seemed to be to persuade people not to have their bodies destroyed. Looking forward to finding out what he really is, haven't been this impatient to see an episode in many many years

The BBC One twitter account is tweeting a picture of a stick version of an insect with a top hat on Clara's phone screen. Although the Disney character doesn't have six legs, the top hat is reminiscent of Jiminy Cricket.
Despite assurances that it isn't "all a dream" perhaps someone in the episode has altered consciousness?
A stick insect with a top hat has been Clara's caller ID screen for The Doctor for a long while. I can't remember when it was first noticed.
It's a reference to her calling him "a grey-haired stick insect" in Listen.

In the Q&A Moffat told them they cut a tiny scene from the episode so screening attendees have something to look forward to.
It's small enough to not effect the episode at all if it's cut. Nobody noticed a scene was cut.
It's big enough that they want to cut it and not risk it leaking.
Also, Moffat saying no to River reappearing in future series is pretty much the same with him saying [sp]the Master[/sp] would never return with him.
