Allow me to once again complain about the guys who feel the need to change the covers of their US releases: UK [thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71SaDWW0jJL._SL1322_.jpg[/thumb] -Exciting and action-y. -Clara's Into the Dalek shirt, a favorite. -General bright colors and relatively clear gear images. US [thumb]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/81%2B001GIDRL._SL1500_.jpg[/thumb] -Dull "standing there" poses. -Clara in dull grey shirt and the same damn Capaldi picture from the costume unveiling -Dark tone. -Somewhat harder to make out the gears. Seriously, why? I mean, I know they did this last year and I liked the US version for the Series 7 box, but still, why?
They even changed the faces in the gears to more boring ones. What a waste of time.
The reclassification isn't very exciting, unfortunately :v: Just been upped from PG to 12 - like most series.
Michelle Gomez? She’s extraordinary. So extraordinary, in fact, that (you are sitting down, right?) there is an excellent chance she may obliterate the memories you have of any previous actor inhabiting the role of The Doctors’s arch-enemy. Like the best power-mad crazies, there is a magnetic steely dead-eyed attitude to her that for her is clearly very sane indeed. She is entirely in command of every scene she’s in. One sequence, which basically consists of her just saying numbers, is an exercise in supremely upsetting tension. Gomez has breathed new life into a show that didn’t know it needed it. She has, to coin a phrase, upgraded Doctor Who.
Just for you, Rudy.
nope sorry Delgado 4 lyf

I swear, Seb's acting in the first 25 seconds is very reminiscent of David Tenannt's :v:
Do not fall for hype. Stay strong. Keep expectations low. It's be more enjoyable in the long run. Also that American box set arc has a collection of faces which least match the characters. Everybody looks serious or angry. Where's the playful humour and that?
oh god i would fuck the shit out of the Master what is wrong with me

Also [sp]with Seb seeming very Ten in his mannerisms, anyone want to bet that the Master created Seb as an interface for the Nethersphere and inputted Ten (The last Doctor that the Master saw) as a personality? That would mean that the "fan-favourite" line would be "allons-y" or something. I reckon, given the info we have, that would make sense[/sp]
The final poster of the series =(
This wonderful man
My heart just melted. Best Doctor on and off screen. [editline]7th November 2014[/editline] I'm really excited that's his hair for Christmas too. It makes him look older. But also madder and more alien.

Jump to 5:20 to see Capaldi filming the plane scene: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04nz3vz/blue-peter-doctor-who-best-of-blue-peter Quite interesting, actually - and more tolerable than DW: Extra
The thing I'm wondering about how this Death/Cybermen thing is how the body/mind thing works. Has Missy been using time travel to catch up most everyone's minds whose died in the last few decades to get them into the Nethersphere? Are they going to graveyards to get all their bodies? How quickly do they expect to convert corpses into Cybermen, did they get some nanogenes or something? And they really should make it clear whether or not 3W was bullshitting the connection between dead people's minds and their bodies and the "white noise" thing.

[editline]7th November 2014[/editline] Do we know what Children in Need will involve this year? It might be the best hope for those wanting a Master regeneration. I imagine it'll be a trailer for Christmas though.

It all started out in a theatre in Cardiff, now it all comes down to this... The final CapalDay of the series!
I can imagine that at some point 12th will be forced into time traveling in order to defeat Missy, back to the days when John Simm was the Master but after he escaped the Time War.

I think it'd be interesting if at some point in the future there was an episode set back on Trenzalore (seeing as it now never became a desolate grave yard), like a few hundred years after Eleven left, where the Doctor is become something of a messianic figure. Because like although he stayed there for 900 years, it seemed to the townsfolk that he was just some dude who was good at fixing stuff and who aged really slowly. Also were there supposed to be other settlements on Trenzalore? It'd be a bit weird if Christmas was the only village on the planet. But then again, I suppose it's also a bit weird how none of the buildings in the town changed at all in 900 years. Or the styles and appearance of the people living there.
Today is the day... Wait is killing me.
It wont kill me, I'll just regenerate again.

There's this guy on DeviantArt who does covers for Doctor Who novelisations of recent stories, but in the style of the pulp novels from the 70s:
