EDIT: I just rang my parents for my weekly catch-up and my dad told me that he loves Gomez as the Master, he said he hasn't been this excited for an episode since he was a kid because Delgado's Master was always his favourite villain when he watched Doctor Who. Neat.

Peter Capaldi's performance was pretty good, as was Michelle Gomez', but the whole thing was deeply flawed
The sudden twist from "we're fucked" to "oh btw I just won" in seconds reminded me of Matt Smith's "smartest man in the room" thing and not in a good way, that was shit
The whole thing with Danny was just naff and it seemed like the writer had about 5 different ideas for what would happen to him over this episode and couldn't decide between them, which may explain why Clara spends most of the episode standing in the same grave yard. His acting isn't even good enough for the speech either, and the writing on said speech was also mediocre
In general I didn't like this episode at all.

Well that fell flat - and my "only way it can end" was blown away in the blink of an eye.
What a waste.
It was a weird episode... I kinda did but mostly didn't like it. I know everyone was really excited about a new two-partner, but that really could have been a 70-minute single finale and been [I]much[/I] better.
Christmas tease was a bit tacky.
Didn't really feel like a good carry-on from the first part, it was all over way too quickly.

that was fucking grand, Capaldi was amazing, Gomez was amazing (fuck her dying, though)
The best bit about the episode was the Brigadier. Seriously, I cried. It hit me really hard and I don't even know why, I fucking loved Based Brig. Saving the Doctor even after death.
