Isn't that just [sp]the Library[/sp]?
Not really a 'theory'.
[editline]18th May 2013[/editline]
also thankfully no major spoilers for the foreseeable future

..so? am i missing something
what is the 'theory' even suggesting
..so? am i missing something because i don't really see how a picture is suddenly a theory because of the costume

i guess the dude is supposed to be ten/11 (god idk anymore)
i guess the dude is supposed to be ten/11 (god idk anymore)
isn't that kind of obvious? it's in the Library, and it's a Tennant episode
im guessing he just used the wrong word but where is the 'theory' in that
Someone figured out clara before the finale. Damn good guess

Holy crap, John Hurt is older then the first Doctor. When the First Doctor died in real life, he was 67. John Hurt is 73.
That finale was awesome. I enjoyed it even though I spoiled it halfway by reading the rumors a few weeks back. Also, I had no idea Jenna would be back for another season!

I recall the line from Nightmare in Silver "I feel like a monster sometimes. Because instead of mourning a billion-trillion dead people, I just feel sorry for the poor blighter that had to press the button and blow it all up." Now in today's episode if John Hurt is indeed the incarnation that caused the deaths of the Timelords, I see a parallel here.
While the implications for the next episode(s) and the future plot were good, the actual episode wasn't anything special at all, felt like a three parter crammed into a single episode. They pretty much land on Trenzalore, go to the Tardis, GI shows up, forces Doctor to open the door (River does it in the end). he jumps in, Clara understands she must jump in as well, aaaaaand that's pretty much it, that's were the whole plot is revealed and the plot of this episode ends. It felt more like one of those short build-up episodes used to hype up the finale, which are fine, but since it ended the GI arc I'd say that it would have been great to have a proper finale with what felt like a proper ending (that wouldn't stop them from [sp]having the John Hurt scene[/sp] and building up for the future episodes).

This is really weird to read as a recap, the episode didn't 'feel' like a two-three parter at all to me IMO but it definitely plays out like a watered down one.
Infact I can't even remember how it turned to be 40 minutes.
So if the [sp] Hurt Doctor [/sp] ends the [sp] Time War [/sp] maybe he will also get all the [sp] remaining regeneration's from all the Time Lord's that die with the end of the war [/sp] which would let the show to continue past the [sp] 13 life limit [/sp]?
Anyone else notice this Whisperman?

It was ok. Better than the series 5 final. Is this the first time a TARDIS has been shown in it's original form?
So now it's 5 months of theories I suppose.
This season's episodes have completely changed my mind on Matt Smith's Doctor. It's like a reverse Mass Effect 3 ending. It has made up for all the shortcomings of the other seasons.
I still always get this massively annoying, nagging feeling that I wish would just go away that each episode could simply have been done so much better. I really want to not feel that way but I do every time.

I think so.
Can't wait to see [sp]John Hurt's[/sp] TARDIS, it's gonna be all beat up and battered on the outside, and probably all weird and warmongering on the inside.

I reckon it'll be an extremely run-down version of Eight's TARDIS, that was so beat up after the war that he had to completely re-grow the console room, which is why it was so radically different from any previous console rooms during his Ninth incarnation.
Speaking of incarnations:

I kinda doubt it, since this ain't Highlander here.

Sorta looks like the guy who played the 1st Doctor in The Five Doctors.

He does, but abit more fatter in the chest and head. Sadly he is dead so it isn't him.
I got incredibly emotional when[sp]Jenny told Vastra that she had forgot to lock the door and that she believed she had been murdered.[/sp] Literally was so hard to watch.
Anyone else piss themselves laughing when all the voices of [sp]old doctors came through the Doctors grave, and you just hear Christopher Eccleston's going "FANTASTIC"[/sp]. Knew it would happen but I still lost my shit.
So has the GI even been explained properly? It's kind of annoying me because I don't know what the hell it is.

It is one of the original enemies before the reboot.

I liked [sp]Matt's "HELLOOO STOOOOONEHEEEENGE" bit from the Pandorica Opens. It's his most iconic scene.[/sp]
Got really creeped out in the scene when [sp]the Great Intelligence controlled Simone ripped its own face off, followed by GI morphing a Whisperman into him again[/sp]

"Quick! We need to head back to the TARDIS before the Universe rips itself apa-FANTASTIC! To prolong the destruction I will set my Soni-REVERSE THE POLARITY OF THE NEUTRON FLOW! Let's g- ALLONS-Y!"

And then she's brought back with a deus ex machina device. Kinda removes the emotions from it.

Expanded canon allude to him being Yog-Sothoth.

Well it's basically a defibrillator.
The part where [sp]8th runs infront of Clara during the 2nd's[/sp] sequence... could this have plot revelance? Why was [sp]8th even there, with 2nd?[/sp]

Which brought back a girl who had been dead for a few minutes without damage (Power of Three, anyone?). Someone get Moffat an actual doctor of medicine to explain that.
