Fuckin Nick Frost as Santa, that's fucking great.
Cannot wait for the Christmas episode.
How to spend good acting in lackluster scripts - a guide by Steven Moffat
(with the exception of episodes 8 and 9 which were not written by him)

It's funny because it's true.

I hope Simon Pegg plays one of his elves.
People who have said they're writing for Doctor Who but haven't popped up yet, so we can assume they're in Series 9:
Neil Gaiman
Neil Cross
Chris Chibnall
Mark Gatiss (it was announced Mark Gatiss will write "one or two" so I guess there's more to come)
based Chibnall
Everyone complaining about the inhibitor... but we actually never saw it being activated, no light turning on, no ding. It just showed Clara using the screwdriver and Danny switching to a serious face. It's highly possible to say that Clara didn't really want to activate it and Danny was just playing along or something like that.
Yeah because his emotions were still intact. He was probably still faulty

A little recognition of that, if that was the case, would have helped then.

Still the best Doctor Who related thing ever. I don't think we'll get anything like this when Moffat goes.
depends who the companion is when he leaves
can't see jenna doing anything like that with peter but if next companion is a comedian-type then maybe
Children in Need is in five days. Time Crash 2 pls.

It's a shame that our next companion isn't Osgood. I could totally see Ingrid Oliver doing something like this.

m-maybe next time we see the mistress she'll have a captured osgood being forced to work for her
[editline]9th November 2014[/editline]
also I totally wanna see an episode where the modern day UNIT headquarters gets attacked or something.
[editline]9th November 2014[/editline]
the mistress attacks UNIT hq, after getting all the passcodes and the layout and stuff from osgood. problem solved

Perhaps the dead Osgood was Zygon Osgood? Zygood.

HOW have you never seen that?
It's one of Moffat's best stories.
Also all the Dalek Bump jokes after the Missy reveal!
Just watched the finale. The plot was all over the place and I'm not quite sure what the last episode amounted to. I mean it was amusing enough, but it felt so pointless.
The season had a few gems but imho it was one of the worse ones.

You'll find that they are Etheric Beam Locators.

If the Cybermen said "Nice to see you again" seconds before Missy disolved into blue light it would've been perfect.
This episode felt like it was to call back to all the things that missed out in the 50th. Brigadier appearing, Cybermen and The Master. K9 is the only absent icon.

This is true! There's two of them!
I mocked Danny's speech, but I tip my invisible berry-laden hat to Moffat for leading in to that next to Remembrance Sunday.
Finally saw last nights episode, I'm not sure what I thought. The whole thing with Danny was a bit meh, but I LOVED Missy. The whole bit with her and Osgood was brilliant.
I'm going to kill you in a minute, I'm not even kidding. You're gonna be as dead as a fish on the slab any second now, all floppy and making smells, but don't tell the boys. This is our secret girl plan ;)
Remind me, has 'All the Strange, Strange Creatures' cropped up in the Moffat era? I know it was in Time of the Doctor, but I really miss hearing that classic.
aaaaaaa honestly buzzing for the s8 ost

The thing about Zygon Osgood. I really, really hope that's why she got killed off, because I desperately want her to come back. Her character seems more fleshed out (or at least more consistent) than Clara's despite her only being in two episodes.
... Come to think of it, she's only ever been in feature-length episodes, too.
My problem with the Cybermen is that they seem TOO human and plastic looking.. The RTD ones looked like real steel and robotic, they looked like something I couldn't push over. The voice was also better. I like the mouth lighting up on the new ones, but I'd rather the light turn on when they start speaking and turn off when they don't, rather than flashing for every word like the Daleks.
They shouldn't have changed them, in my opinion.
In the scene where the doctor is remembering the Dalek talking about him, the iPlayer closed Captioning said it was Davros talking :v:
