So you know there's that scene when the Doctor punches in the coordinates given to him by the Master, and opens the door to find nothing... Does he not at least try looking in the other direction? Gallifrey might have just been behind him. :v:
GG BBC [sp]Followed of course by the Doctor Who episode which has the boy's grandma resurrected as a Cyberman.........[/sp] Incidentally, did you notice that The Doctor was going to either shoot the floor or blow his hand off when he was ready to fire at Missy :v:
If we're being nostalgic about old Doctor Who videos, there sure is a certain one that we can't forget! Shame that there doesn't seem to be quite the same happiness on Doctor Who anymore, apropos: [editline]9th November 2014[/editline] Wohooooo!
From on set sources the joy is very much still there on set. Better than ever as of Series 8. There was apparently a downer last year which built up to and followed Skinner-gate. You just don't see it. As there's no confidential. And no wrap party leaks.
The problem with Confidential is it used too much money that it didn't need to use. Like sending the cast on holiday to a place an episode was set (but the cast didn't film in). Or getting Karen Gillan to test drive around a race course. It was better when it was a bunch of interviews, behind the scenes content and natural moments happening on set. It tried to impress and show off. Doctor Who EXTRA is a nice substitute but it's brief and misses some details. And it's directed in a rather generic way.
I want to fucking murderize the Extra narrator too, such an annoying prick

I could do it better. Infact I should. Who do I send a demo to? Freeze? [editline]9th November 2014[/editline]
I agree, Star Trek is far better.
Fair play. I'm an idiot. [editline]9th November 2014[/editline] Lots of rumours flying around about the plot of Christmas. The two I like the most are [sp]dream hopping[/sp] and [sp]Sea Devils awaking from the ice under The North Pole[/sp]. During his end speech he demands people "pour one for his fallen homies. And don't hate the player" *jets off* "hate the game" *explodes*
Also, while it may seem cheesy, was I the only one who saluted when the Brigadier showed up? That moment was really well done.

The Christmas episode looks like a PG version of John Carpenter's The Thing, with added Santa! Awesome!
After pausing and analysing the clips of the monsters sitting up in the trailer, discussing it with other fans, I've come to the conclusion it's [sp]the Sea Devils. That's why they are being careful about how much they show of the monster this far from Christmas. Because we'd recognise it. Pause them sitting up and you can see the unusual neck shape and Sea-devil like head outline. Look closely before the fade and it seems they're even wearing the same blue meshy outfit. I'll be surprised if it's not them. Love The Sea Devils, one of my favourite stories. Another Pertwee throwback after The Master vs UNIT? A Brigadier cameo? The coat being like his cape. Interesting.[/sp]
My dad said this to my brother. "I don't like the new doctor and Moffats plots are developing more "plot holes" and contradictions and becoming open ended. Same old foes same old outcomes same old interactions between doctor and companion. same old imagination. Doesn't need a new timeline needs a new storyline." I have to agree with him, with the exception of not liking the new Doctor, as I love the new Doctor. Also I don't know what plotholes he means so that as well, but the rest I agree with.
Perhaps the dead Osgood was Zygon Osgood? Zygood.
Didn't Osgood use her inhaler on the plane? If so, wouldn't that mean it was the human Osgood that died and not Zygood?
Didn't Osgood use her inhaler on the plane? If so, wouldn't that mean it was the human Osgood that died and not Zygood?
Nah, both of them used the inhaler in DotD iirc.

Honestly I feel that [sp]Missy and Osgood aren't dead[/sp]
DOCTOR CHANG IS THE TRUE HERO WE DESERVE THAT ISN'T REALLY DEAD right?
osgood is dead missy is not
I just watched the season finale and... I'll be honest, it was awful. Didn't enjoy it at all. Which is weird, because the first part was actually pretty good.
The season finale felt lacking. Like if you look at the Masters plan in other seasons, they seem elaborate to a point where he basically owns the Doctor as a pet, as he unleashes his army on the world. This time it was a love story, "here I gave you soldiers, go save everyone, wait why is this backfiring, HOW COULD THIS POSSIBLY BACKFIRE, OH RIGHT I AM BANANAS, BLAH I AM PHASED AWAY".
DOCTOR CHANG IS THE TRUE HERO WE DESERVE THAT ISN'T REALLY DEAD right?
Doctor Chang should be the next companion. That way we could have two doctors traveling on the TARDIS.

I loved the first part, did not like how they ended it. Just felt dull, lacked any suspense and it was just too predictable
series 8 soundtrack is like a year away ;_;
The assembled hoards of genghis khan couldn't get force the tardis doors open, but santa could. Guess he's been working out.

They dropped the shit out of the collecting-people-across-time-and-space thing seeing as none of them were ever mentioned again.
