They dropped the shit out of the collecting-people-across-time-and-space thing seeing as none of them were ever mentioned again.
They were, collectively. She was meeting those who sacrificed themselves for The Doctor (indicating that Half-Man DID jump) to determine what he wanted /needed most. Hence why she had no time for the policeman. So we could say the scenes where Missy met people were in her TARDIS? Because her scenes looked completely different from the rest of the Nethersphere. I know that's because different directors but I imagine it was in the scripts too. It works as an in-canon explanation.

When doctor was telling based cyber Danny (going to miss him) about pain what did Danny mean by "are you telling me for real" and then doesn't say anything else. Also bugged me the news didn't mention the battle of canary wharf.
When are we going to see the return of Capaldi's favourites? *** Serious question - how were the physical forms recovered in the Matrix? Uploading dying minds is one thing, allowing the kid to walk back in to the real world is another. If their real bodies were being converted in to Cybermen, where did they get their new ones from? :v: Guess they just had to Moffat in to existence for it to work.

Maybe it could've brought the minds into physical form in the same way. She didn't really need the bracelet to do that though as in the past The Master has landed a TARDIS in The Matrix hasn't he?

At the end of the episode, the Doctor should have opened the TARDIS doors after hearing him speak, revealing Santa in Lapland, as he turns around. AND INTRODUCING... NICK FROST as SANTA CLAUS [editline]10th November 2014[/editline] Also, if the Sea Devils are going to be in it, then that pretty much confirms that this is a fanwank series for Capaldi. Three of the Third Doctor's most well-remembered enemies, plus Daleks and Cybermen.
So how long till the Chumblies appear in Capaldi's series? :v:

[In the basement Peter cosplays as The Third Doctor infront of a lifesize poster of Jon Pertwee] "You will return my lord. You will return through me" "SPLINK" a voice echoes through the room. "I understand my lord" Peter dials a number on his phone "Steven it's me. The Doctor. *Peter pulls a lever and the shrine spins around to reveal a number of remote control Chumblies*
So how do we rank the episodes? In order from best to worst: The Great Dark Water/Death In Heaven Listen Flatline Into The Dalek Kill The Moon The Good Deep Breath The Caretaker Mummy On The Orient Express The Okay Robot of sherwood The Bad In The Forest Of The Night The Awful Time Heist I anticipate everybody else has very different ideas. That's how Doctor Who usually is. But I don't think I've had that many episodes in Great and that little below Okay since Series 3. For me Series 8 is a triumph.
Ratings out of 10: Listen - 9.5 Flatline - 9 Mummy on the Orient Express - 8 Deep Breath - 7.5 Dark Water - 7.5 Kill the Moon - 7.5 Time Heist - 7 Death in Heaven - 7 Into the Dalek - 7 Robot of Sherwood - 7 The Caretaker - 7 In the Forest of the Night - 4.5 Average is about 7.5, which is pretty good if you ask me. Also yes I'm slightly biased and I couldn't care less, luckily my bias matches up with a lot of other people's thoughts so I'm safe. :v:
I personally think there's been good individual episodes but as a season it feels muddled and not really great. I'd say overall season 5 had the best story and was a better overall season, but we got the best doctor now. The Great Listen Flatline Mummy On The Orient Express The Good The Caretaker Dark Water The Okay Robot of Sherwood Into the Dalek Time Heist The Bad Deep Breath Kill the Moon Death In Heaven (because it could have been great) The Awful In The Forest Of The Night
Probably no one else cares but I didn't like the wardrobe, especially the nightshirt, the shirts without ties and Missy's blouse.
The biggest question here... Is Santa a Time Lord? :v:
How can we be sure Santa isn't the Rani?
I don't like the hole jumper. Love everything else.

Regarding the posters from this series http://www.bigchiefstudios.co.uk/latest-news/timeless-art-fit-for-a-timelord
Regarding the posters from this series http://www.bigchiefstudios.co.uk/latest-news/timeless-art-fit-for-a-timelord
YES YES YES YES YES YES MY UNI ROOM WILL BE SO SWAG, THE HUNNIES ARE GONNA LOVE IT I'm gonna order Deep Breath, Into the Dalek, The Caretaker and Death in Heaven I reckon.. Maybe swap out The Caretaker for Time Heist, shame Time Heist was such a bad ep, the poster's really cool
Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought it was pretty boring and dull. I loved the first part, did not like how they ended it. Just felt dull, lacked any suspense and it was just too predictable
Kinda late but I completely agree. There were no surprises like previous finales and everything was easy to predict if you'd watched any of the past few seasons. Missy didn't seem like The Master at all apart from seeming crazy at times and I missed the real rivalry between The Doctor and The Master.
UK viewers. Horror Channel +1 is about to have Doctor Who The Androids of Tara start in less than 10 minutes.
Best Mummy On The Orient Express Good Flatline Dark Water Time Heist Alright Listen Into The Dalek Death In Heaven The Caretaker Bad Deep Breath Robots of Sherwood Worst Kill the Moon In Forest of the Night
1) dark water 2) listen 3) mummy 4) flatline 5) caretaker 6) into the dalek 7) deep breath 8) death in heaven 9) robot of sherwood 10) time heist 11) kill the moon 12) in the forest of the night objectively correct opinion right here
~snip~
Time Heist was a really great episode but the ending could've been better. All of the Harold Saxon references throughout season 3 were great, felt like they could've easily added more hints to the finale.
