At the end of the episode she says goodbye to The Doctor to find Santa has left her a Danny under the tree.
Nah, he'll be in a bush outside.
I wonder if he also shot his parents, since apparently he shot up his whole house. Now the kid's an orphan, and Danny Pink's a bigger idiot than he was before.
Well I mean Danny did say that the kid 'has to find his parents' so I doubt it. I don't think I'd want Danny to come back either, just posing the question since I think it's an interesting one. I wouldn't HATE it though like I'm sure some would.
Clara's totally gonna adopt the Afghan kid and then have a baby and they'll be series 9's Artie and Angie or whatever the fuck those piece of shit assbags from series 7 were called
The Stolen Earth was a great cliffhanger until the week after and it was revealed to be a ruse. If Danny comes back it essentially makes the finale a pointless adventure. I'm actually not expecting Clara to go at Christmas. It would be daft to have a touching goodbye only for her next story to be another goodbye. I fully expect Trackboy started the "Jenna is leaving" rumour because he read the script before the Santa scene was included and it seemed like she'd left at the time.
Guys I'm sure Danny is doing well in the afterlife.
Orsoooon Piiiiiink
missy is not in any way lovely she just acts like she is
What really made Missy was the incredible performance. Each line of dialogue was brilliant.
DS poll running - could be a good testament to Jacobi.
I've posted this already but Danny's character arc had a good payoff. If you just bring him back for no reason, you cheapen the whole thing. Clara's arc too since they are intervened.
Danny had an arc other than "I was a soldier! I dug wells! Stop traveling with the Doctor, he's a general. Claaaarrrraaaaaa"? I mean, I won't argue the conclusion of his arc... Him being dead and gone is fine by me, he was so shallow and annoying.
honestly danny was probably the worst character of the whole season, i fucking preferred courtney to him.
i fucking preferred courtney to him.
I think that's crossing the line. :v:
DS poll running - could be a good testament to Jacobi.
I can't believe somebody actually voted for Roberts. I want to go for Jacobi as his was the best performance. But I feel that's unfair on people who got longer in the role and actually had it as a running job
The beauty of multiple choice - you can root for both! :v:
how would you guys feel if danny was somehow revived in christmas/whenever clara decides to leave to give clara a happy ending?
Oh. My. God. I've just come to a realisation. When Santa gives that line of "What do you want for Christmas?", PLEASE DO NOT OFFER THIS QUESTION TO CLARA, THIS WILL CAUSE DANNY TO RETURN. However, if he does return, I really hope they write his character better. He has potential if they aim for the more fun side of him, than the whole needy "you're a liar" thing he had going.
He has potential if they aim for the more fun side of him, than the whole needy "you're a liar" thing he had going.
Hey, he was fun. He dug wells.
Hey, he was fun. He dug wells.
Oooh... Wells...
Peter Pratt best Master.
23 WELLS
Danny Splink dug the wells by continuously backflipping with a massive wooden spade strapped to his back. Confirmed.
Bet he hid the boy's body somewhere.
"Okay Peter these are some of the ideas we've got for your series-" Moffat is suddenly silenced. "Forget it. I want The Master. I want UNIT. I want Sea Devils. I want The Brigadier" "Okay but Nicholas Courtney is dead Peter and-" "I want The Brigadier" [Peter stands up and leaves. He comes back a few seconds later] "And next year I want Silurians, Autons and Omega" [Peter leaves again leaving Moffat and Minchin pale and shaking] [Peter arrives home. Ignores his wife and child. Goes into the basement] "Mum, he's in the shrine again..." whispers his daughter, afraid. "It's fine dear. It's fine" she sobs. [In the basement Peter cosplays as The Third Doctor infront of a lifesize poster of Jon Pertwee] "You will return my lord. You will return through me" "SPLINK" a voice echoes through the room. "I understand my lord" Peter dials a number on his phone "Steven it's me. The Doctor. I've got an idea for a character called Danny Sp- Pink" Peter puts this record on and dances around the room, miming at the wall mirror. The Pertwee poster grins.
Can we get this for Children in Need? Because I want this acted out for Children in Need. Also Peter Capaldi best pronounce Omega as Oh-miiih-ga.
Bet he hid the boy's body somewhere.
Probably threw it down a well.
Probably threw it down a well.
Well done buddy.
Well this thread is getting odd
Peter Pratt best Master.
Geez, those results are astonishing, they thought that Delgado was a better Master than Simm and Gomez? In my opinion they should go first/second as their characteristics were more developed and managed to hook viewers easily. Jacobi's performance was undeniably good but Simm developed the Master's character a lot more and perfected it, I loved John Simm's portrayal the most along with Michelle Gomez as both actors gave off strong impressions of the Master being genuinely insane and quite eccentric, however Moffat just loves to suspend their screentime too much. Personally, I thought Simm just suited the series so well in a similar manner to the way David Tennant did. Both actors are genuinely good performers and likeable... ALLONS-Y!
they thought that Delgado was a better Master than Simm
Roger Delgado will always be The Master
Delgado is the ultimate master. Jacobi had zero development to become the true master.
Will never forget... this Capangle.

I can't believe somebody actually voted for Roberts.
You're making me want to do a thing. Also, I love it whenever I find promo pics I've never seen before, such as the TV Movie shot below from DS's Master list, but it makes me seriously wonder where they find these things. Is it a vault of media the BBC only lets the press see or what?
