Fixed.
that could maybe work, but I don't know how fun it would be to constrain ourselves to the Time War, since it would mean all the scripts would be fairly similar, as opposed to setting it with the most recent Doctor, having Clara as a secondary character, and being able to set their episodes literally anywhere and any time.
Happy Birthday, Doctor Who!
Remember this place a year ago? Me neither.
this time last year I was hyped to an extent I'll probably never be again
Happy 51st Birthday Doctor Who! Hopefully there'll be another missing episode reveal soon like last year.
I rewatched Matt Smith's final episode. Goddamn you, Doctor Who. You are officially the only television program on these days that can bring me to tears . . .damn. Right in the fucking feels.
I can agree with everything you say. I think that Matt Smiths, and David Tennants, "I don't want to go" hits me in the feels every single damn time. Even just going back to this episode to nab this picture made me teary eyed. Not many shows can do that to me. Fringe was the only other one because I loved each character. So somebody's working on bringing the Eighth Doctor's TARDIS to the Source engine, specifically Garry's Mod. [thumb]http://th01.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2014/326/d/c/when_somebody_mentions_the_eighth_doctor_by_andrewnuva199-d87chai.png[/thumb] I guess you could say I'm a little excited about this.
I think I will watch An Unearthly Child today, even if the Cavemen parts drag it down. I find it interesting just how far Doctor Who has come in technical terms. The show has grown up around developments in video based technology. Even episodes made a decade or so later in the 70s look a whole lot better than the ones made in the 60s and lets bear in mind here that 405 line television (What Doctor Who was originally made for) isn't even what we would consider Standard definition these days (377 interlaced lines in terms of digital resolution v 480 or 576 lines) . The show wasn't even in stereo until at least the very late 80s either.

Even if they just stuck him in front of a green screen of the movie set for a few seconds (they could have done it while making Night of the Doctor)
Should've got him in his costume communicating with The Doctors during the big finale scene. But I don't think Night of the Doctor was even planned till after the 50th filmed. It was very much a last minute thing. It was only done because Hurt was cast to replace Chris and Moffat wanted to make the transition easier.
The menu on the Series 8 blu-ray is deliciously weird Also! The unnecessary sequel that YouTube didn't want you to see :v: Unfortunately there are some missing audio issues which I'll get around to fixing it at some point. (had to try though, didn't I...)
While it may be cheesy, I would almost have preferred if this was what actually happened. It's just got such a nice "full circle" feeling to it.

Kind of looks like Matt Smith is cupping Hartnell's boob
Listening to the 50th soundtrack, I can't help but wonder why they left so many tunes unused. I suppose I could see why Clara's theme being recycled would fit better than that rock tune, but was Majestic tale and that tune from Wedding of River Song really more effective than the Song for Four tune Gold wrote up?

Is Capaldi recreating the Tom Baker pose? It's not a pose I'd otherwise associate with his character.
My wallet hurts. I hope my girlfriend sucks me off for this. (cant wait though squeeeee)
Is Capaldi recreating the Tom Baker pose? It's not a pose I'd otherwise associate with his character.
It's the Doctor photoshoot "just kind of point or splay your fingers out and look enigmatic" pose.
I don't know if anyone has seen this already, but this is gold. It's really awesome stuff!
So did that guy who was already a machine get turned into a Cyberman? So he's a robot put into a cyberbody? A robot with human skin within another robot?
"It's Doctor Who and I can do anything. A dinosaur in the Thames vomits up Peter Capaldi's TARDIS! I wrote that scene without any clear idea about what the rest of the plot was going to be." I think Moffat regularly has moments like this :v: I enjoy CapalMoff's on-going Mondasian Cybermen argument.

Strangely that makes perfect sense, its a horribly dumb way of writing but at least we know where the lay of the land is, curiously though a similar technique is used when making those damn 'Nativity' movies which to be honest isn't something that one should wish to try and replicate.
Catherine Tregenna (Torchwood) is down for Series 9. For now. http://www.theagency.co.uk/clients/clientdisplay.html?viewListing=MzQx
Torchwood - Adam - Meat - Captain Jack Harkness - Out of Time
I remember her Torchwood episodes being quite heavy, often quite deep and dark. I could be misremembering but if not it's interesting.
I remember her Torchwood episodes being quite heavy, often quite deep and dark. I could be misremembering but if not it's interesting.
nah they're all quite dark episodes with sorta heavy moral dilemmas Kill The Moon 2?

I wish they'd bring it back, or even bring back Captain Jack Harkness to Doctor Who.
I miss Torchwood, the first 2 seasons were great. Children of Earth series however was incredible. Miracle Day killed it. Jack was supposed to be in A Good Man Goes to War but Barrowman was filming Miracle Day. Which is probably what led to the creation of one of the Paternoster Gang to fill his place.
