Here you go. Source
OH FOR GODS SAKE!
You mean instead of having an actual three dimensional character we got lumbered with those three losers who have barely any character between them?
AHHH!
Who knows! They could've been in it anyway! Maybe Jack would've had the pirates role.
Paternoster need to fuck off, they're really quite bad. Strax is alright but Vastra & Jenny... urgh
So did that guy who was already a machine get turned into a Cyberman? So he's a robot put into a cyberbody? A robot with human skin within another robot?
Its like you didn't watch Deep Breath
Also Barrowman won't be back anytime soon due to his contract on Arrow
Pretty sure that George Michael may be earning some extra royalties from #DoctorWho fans this Christmas. ;) #Midnight #Christmas
So Last Christmas will be the title?

Oop. At least one website breaks the Midnight Embargo

I hope the Christmas special is good. I think the only episodes I've enjoyed as Christmas episodes have been The Snowmen and A Christmas Carol

Moffat dodges the "is Santa a Timelord?" question. It's fucking happening.
"Last Christmas" confirmed.
(it wasn't confirmed until the midnight release)

That hoodie. It's still crazy that Capaldi managed to get away with that. And with the spotted shirt, too!
Also, still hoping you were on to something about the Sea Devils returning.
That hoodie. It's still crazy that Capaldi managed to get away with that. And with the spotted shirt, too!
An old face, a t-shirt and a hoodie go well together
So Clara is going to be in the Christmas special... judging on the track record of previous companions endings... this can't end well for her.
Place your bet on her fate, based on previous companions, she'll be torn away from the Doctor tragically in some way... I'm placing my bet on something involving the Silence.
"It's Doctor Who and I can do anything. A dinosaur in the Thames vomits up Peter Capaldi's TARDIS! I wrote that scene without any clear idea about what the rest of the plot was going to be."
Well, that explains why it was so fucking stupid.
Most of the time in Moffat's run whenever they try to do something big and flashy and special effects heavy it tends to be really dumb.
Paternoster need to fuck off, they're really quite bad. Strax is alright but Vastra & Jenny... urgh
I think Jenny is fine and Strax is alright.
Vastra is the one who needs to get the fuck out. Any time she's on screen things just devolve rapidly.
I thought Vastra was the good one until Deep Breath. Then she just got well and truly Moffated :v:

What will be more controversial? Doctor Who or Top Gear in Argentina?! :v:
I want to watch Children of Earth, do I need to watch Miracle Day first? Or any other Torchwood series?
I want to watch Children of Earth, do I need to watch Miracle Day first? Or any other Torchwood series?
You can just watch Children of Earth, but not entirely recommended if you may find yourself watching Series 1 & 2 immediately after or something :v: It won't have the same impact from a character POV.
( You can pretend Miracle Day doesn't exist. )
I thought Vastra was the good one until Deep Breath. Then she just got well and truly Moffated :v:
Ah yes. I too remember the 'share with me' incident.
I was referring more towards using her wife as a model to brighten the room while lusting after Clara :v:
Vastra and Jenny are married, you know. Married. As in married. Really, married. I don't know if you knew. But if you didn't know and still haven't let it sunk in.... they're married.
"Share with me" was just a brief waste of Ofcom's time.
Maybe Silurians just don't view marriage the same way.
We can't file Vastra under Silurians any more than we can file Strax under Sontarans, really.
I would like Moffat's replacement to go to some length to do justice to both races when these characters are gone.

implying Moffat's leaving anytime soon
No - but he's going to leave eventually.
Unless the show dies with him :v:
I just feel that the Vastra actor plays it up to a CBBC audience. Strax meanwhile is written for CBBC but Starkey carries it off well.
It's nice to see aliens do something other than destroy the world though so that was nice. But they felt forced as characters. Like a desperate attempt to say "look! We got recurring characters in this era too". Same with River.
i've heard rumours that jenny and vastra are going to be married in season 9? knowing moffat i bet he'll find a really subtle way to pull this off. not sure if i should spoiler tag tihs
When will they explain Peter's appearances in Pompeii and Torchwood?
Any time she's on screen things just devolve rapidly.
is it bad that I thought for a brief moment that you were making a Silurian-based pun
[editline]25th November 2014[/editline]
When will they explain Peter's appearances in Pompeii and Torchwood?
I was wondering that too. They hinted heavily before the series started that they were gonna explore that idea, but then they just... Didn't. At all
I thought it was just loosely tied to The Doctor's good man arc. It was implied as much in Deep Breath.
Moffat said it wouldn't be a big thing, just low-key.
Didn't even say it would be resolved. He said Russell came up with a resolution, told Moffat and Moffat liked it. He never said he was actually gonna do it.
Moffat only said the fact Peter has appeared before would be referenced in a low key way. Nothing about explaining it or resolving it.
of course its sarcasm did you see deep breath? if you took a shot every time jenny and vastras marriage was blatantly referenced your skin would be yellow and you'd have pissed yourself
I want to watch Children of Earth, do I need to watch Miracle Day first? Or any other Torchwood series?
I'd only seen the first episode of series 1 but I loved Children of Earth
