So basically [sp]Jenna is doing what Clara did in the series, said 'to hell with the last hurrah'?[/sp]
omg [sp]i hope trackboy has a record of being wrong because i dont think i can cope with another season of clara regardless of how good capaldi is[/sp]
omg [sp]i hope trackboy has a record of being wrong because i dont think i can cope with another season of clara regardless of how good capaldi is[/sp]
[sp]No record of being wrong. Apart from the time he said Charles Dance was The Master (which he insists he was but it changed during production)[/sp]
seriously, Clara [sp] Needs to leave now, we've had her for what 3 seasons going onto 4 with her in 9 and possibly 5 if she stays for 10 with Capaldi[/sp]. I'm done with her being on the show now, want someone new and interesting and NOT the center of the universe, savior of the world because she has to be. [editline]28th November 2014[/editline] Id at least like an episode where it is Capaldi and a random temp companion, along the lines of The Lodger. Maybe even bring back James Corden, it would be a nice dynamic to have him used to a Jumpity Doctor to a Fuckity Fuck Off Doctor.
Clara's done a season and a half so far.
You sure? Thought it was 1 with Matt and 1 with Pete or am i that bored of her that it feels like longer. [editline]28th November 2014[/editline] Yea it was two series you Goof
The BBC's Live+7 (total unique audience) data brings Capaldi's debut series to a marvellous 8.31m average.

she was in the anniversary special as well, an episode of 7a and two christmas specials
Maybe she refuses to leave until she gets a 13 episode series :v:
How's she going down outside of internet circles in the real world? My mum was very sad when she thought Clara was leaving in the last episode. Sadder when her TV guide said it's likely this is her final story.
I've heard mixed outside of Internet Circles, those that don't like her seem to have the same rough opinion shes boring and her story is done now but those that like her say she should stay because she works well with CapaldiGrump
In response to The Mirror's rumour that Jenna will [sp]leave halfway into Season 8[/sp] Trackboy said [sp]must be a very short season coming up if she leaves half way through it which implies she's only in a few episodes[/sp]
How's she going down outside of internet circles in the real world?
My family will be sad when she goes. My colleagues won't be.
Everyone I know who watches Doctor Who at uni thinks the same as me about Clara. She's a horrible, annoying companion who needs to leave ASAP. Which is a shame, because Jenna is pretty cool. I blame Moffat.
Every time an episode airs, I receive a text along the lines of "Clara can fuck right off"
Clara is one of my main issues with the show. Jenna really isn't that great of an actress and the character has been written terribly to top it off.
Am I the only one in this thread who has absolutely no issue with the character of Clara?
I don't mind her at all, but I have a habit of having terrible opinions so I keep quiet :v:
Clara is super cool, f the haters.
Clara is one of my favourite companions, I hope Jenna doesn't leave.
I mainly hope Clara doesn't leave because of how hard Moffat's built her. Only having one and a half seasons plus two specials feels a little underwhelming for someone who's been forced into her caliber.
My niece had a baby girl on Thursday, she has named her Martha Rose

Happy for Clara to stay on, but with a new full-time TARDIS companion introduced who will stay on when she leaves... The Doctor has been looking for a new companion, so it's not much of a stretch for somebody to say yes and survive long enough to come on board.

Aye and him being an ex-soldier would have been an interesting dynamic to play off with The Doctor and seeing as The Doctors hatred towards soldiers seemed heightened this series it would have at least built to something a little bit more substantial than what we got at the end of this series.
It was refreshing to have: - A 'good' character who disagreed with The Doctor - A recurring character across a series who doesn't travel in the TARDIS - A boyfriend who isn't a complete wet fish - A recurring character killed off
