think there's any chance of the next series being split and clara leaving halfway through?
So... where was the Doctor? Pompeii?
think there's any chance of the next series being split and clara leaving halfway through?
Basically according to the guy who is never wrong: [sp]it's a full series. Clara leaves early on. Like episode 3 or 4. Possibly a 2-parter. Davros is the big bad in the series. Some others have said The Master has a two parter at some point too[/sp]
pretty meh episode gutted the doctor's never seen alien

It was over 1000 years ago! He probably 'deleted' it :v: I did like that throwback to Into the Dalek. "Are you the same ones as before?"

I now need somebody to explain the end of Death in Heaven, or else it's going to bug me.

I'll just pretend he was wearing his hoody.
Yeah, I got that... but in regards to Santa storming the TARDIS while The Doctor was moping.
In between the scene where he left Clara and the final scene he fell asleep and was in the dream state with the face hugger thing. He put his hoodie on inbetween then and going to Clara's rooftop.

Did the Doctor keep waking up at the place that Clara burnt the TARDIS keys with the dream-patch?
Did the Doctor keep waking up at the place that Clara burnt the TARDIS keys with the dream-patch?
that's what i saw, which leads credence to the idea that they might still not be out of the dream yet
christ if it all turns out that the two parter was a dream and Danny "Child Murdering Well Digging" Pink isn't actually dead I'll kms.
christ if it all turns out that the two parter was a dream and Danny "Child Murdering Well Digging" Pink isn't actually dead I'll kms.
I thought Danny was forever dead, what the fuck I mean seriously, the last episode; "oh I can only send one person through" and the kicked pooped out of the portal guess I'll wait till tomorrow to understand, it hasn't aired yet in Canadia
I think the area the Doctor woke up in was similar to the one in Dark Water to save money.
I thought it was obvious that the doctor woke up where Clara threw away the keys, considering they were both dream states. Also, if it was a a dream, Danny is still dead because Clara put the dream patches on after Danny was killed.
So... where was the Doctor? Pompeii?
I really hope so.
Doctor Who: 6.34m Everything was beaten by The Queen's Speech at 7.82m. Oh dear.
Interesting, the Consumer Panel today had a question on the Series 9 DVD/Bluray release. Asking what extras we might like and to rate them out of ten for how much we want. I hope Natalie Gumede will appear again, really enjoyed her performance in this episode.
Just imagine: In a few years time, Capaldi quits the role. A new doctor is cast. This doctor is highly successful, remaining for several series, but eventually decides to move on and a new actor takes on the role. The year is now 2021, the current doctor has been in the role for a few years, and decides to step down. At the end of this doctor's final episode, when all seems lost, there's a knock on the TARDIS door. A familiar voice calls out: "Doctor? You know it can't end like that." In walks Santa Claus, making the doctor realise he's still in the dream state. He wakes up, and it's still Capaldi, he's been laying on that volcano for the last 7 years. He jumps up and goes to fetch Clara. Before the credits roll, we see the message "THE DOCTOR AND CLARA WILL RETURN IN 2022" *cue theme tune*
war docter has seen it
you spend centuries seeing the most fantastic sights of the universe and you will undoubtedly forget a film you saw over a thousand years ago
you know what i'd like to come with the dvd release the fucking soundtrack hurry the fuck up with that shit
Hm, Jenna says she couldn't walk away with her story unresolved. I'm left wondering what there is to resolve. Series 7 resolved her original "story." Series 8 had her leaving, staying, leaving, staying then leaving "story" and dealt with the Danny Pink "story." Last Christmas resolved the loose ends & lying & deciding to stay again "story." If Series 9 has even a whiff of "unresolved issues" or "oooh she might leave soon" between The Doctor & Clara... well I'll write a very angry post about it on Facepunch. One of my biggest hopes for Capaldi sticking around for a good few years yet is so he can get a fresh start from a companion perspective.
