Just another incomplete plot line from the great Moff.
Like who was the man in the jail cell at the start of The Name of the Doctor? It was just forgotten about, and never explained.
He was a tool of the GI
as for the girl in the shop thats a leadup to the 50th
Holy Carp that was a great episode, I was really disappointed with how this season started but it just kept getting better till the end.

Emma from Hide told Clara that [sp]the Doctor has a sliver of ice in his heart. FORESHADOWING MUCH?[/sp]

I am linking it because it might contains spoilers for those who have yet to watch the finale/
A really weird combination of a bald Matt and Steven Moffat in America drinking makes for a post.
Hang on? Was it ever explained who the girl in the shop was who gave the number to Clara? Or why Clara can't type the number "23"?
clara wants to fix her laptop or something
a girl in the shop gives her a number to call for help "the best helpline in the universe"
it's the Doctor's phone number
so obviously the girl must be someone important if she knows who Clara is/The Doctor's number

welcome back from cryosleep
you're welcome.
[sp]Quick question, The 10th Doctor in the 50th anniversary special is going to be the metacrisis doctor right? Along with the parallel universe rose, well stranded in a parallel universe rose that is because I don't see how timelines crossing would make any sense.[/sp]
Spoiler that, dude.
EDIT: Thank you.

Yes but he didn't know what his 11th doctor would look like until he actually became him so it would make no sense.

In multi-doctor stories they usually pulled the business of erasing the past Doctor's memory when they sent him back to his own time, but that was back when the timelords were around to come in and sort everything out at the end.
That being said, in The Two Doctors, the Second didn't have his memory wiped after he met the Sixth, but he probably just forgot what he would end up like as it was hundreds of years later.

Must be kinda depressing for the Doctor when he meets a future regeneration knowing that his current face won't always be like that.
Even worse if he has the last face and meets a past regeneration. I'm guessing he won't tell his past versions that he is the last one or something just to be on the safe side.

KISS MEH RORY
It turns out the song [sp]The One That Broke The Promise[/sp] has actually been around for a year, it was in Eternity Clock.
I may be dense but what's all this talk about the 9th?
I think I find out the truth on [sp]John Hurt's Doctor[/sp]
Me and my friend (Lordgeorge) were talking and I came to realize some stuff involving [sp]John Hurt's Doctor[/sp], The End of Time and some of the comics and other episodes.
Since it is long read I pasted it here.

Okay time for me to sort this John Hurt shit. It's very simple.
This is the info from the people that read the script for the 50th and posted about the John Hurt Doctor last month.
- [sp]He is between 8 and 9. Several sources say two weeks ago is when the Eighth Doctors regeneration into John Hurt was filmed (with McGann present). This was likely done to anticipate negative fan reaction to the lack of Paul McGann. The Hurt character is Moffat fixing the shows greatest misstep, the fact McGann never got a regeneration. He's turned what we initially thought was a gaff into a twist which seems years in the making. [/sp]
- [sp]This regeneration scene will be available online BEFORE the special. Possibly on TV in some way (apparently lots of exciting stuff is still unannounced, there is more than one prequel, this is how most classic Doctors will appear)[/sp]
- [sp]As for a Hurt-Eccleston regeneration scene. Apparently an epilogue was filmed. But nobody is revealing what it is (maybe they don't know). I personally think if they went through the trouble of getting a McGann-Hurt, they would've sorted something out for a Hurt-Eccleston so all loose ends are tied up. Maybe during the 50th and this will be Ecclestones minor role.[/sp]
- He's not an antagonist. He is there to help the other two Doctors. It's essentially a modern Three Doctors. [sp]The villain is Omega. Some scenes are set in Gallifrey. One of the prequels [/sp]
- [sp]It's starting to be revealed that the original report that said Hurt was only drafted in to replace Chris is untrue, caused by confusion. Chris had a separate minor part. Apparently he still has that part, he recorded it. The reports he's not in it are because his role is not as large as Hurt, Tennant and Smith. But people thought Hurt was a replacement as his role is a direct reference to the RTD era.[/sp]
- Infact some say all Doctors appear in at least cameos. One actor is playing a new character. That actor is likely [sp]Peter Davison as Omega, as when we last saw Omega he was played by Davison. That's speculation but Davison is Moffats favourite Doctor actor and was spotted at lunch with Moffat and Tennant last year.[/sp].
- Finally the picture posted above proves Matt and Moffat are not at war.

Why isn't ALL of that spoilered? not everyone reads spoiler sites like it's going out of fashion like you do, Dan.
Because they spoil absolutely nothing maybe? It just clarifies what they fucking meant and the marketing.
I've spoiler tagged the actual spoilers.
